Gave all the plants a good clean up and punched the blumats into the pots and gave them a good soaking so I can start dialing them in tomorrow. Going to give them a foliar spray of Boron and flip them tomorrow or Sunday.
Would have liked to have them in better shape before sending them of but They should be alright

Haha I had the same thing happen to me this week. If your in aus then its a possum. Leave out some apples for him
And don’t kill the poor possums. They’ve got enough issues with us cutting down more n more trees. Can’t you’s just protect the plants somehow. Or maybe even if u just left apples laying around (with NO poison) they might choose to munch on them rather than your plants anyway.

I wonder if spraying the plants with chilli, garlic might even be enough to leave a bad taste in their mouth and stop them.

I figured it was the possums, they like to make lots of noise on the roof and if the dog goes out to bark at them they piss on him. I reckon they do get high, they’re mammals with the same general biochemistry as us. If they were as smart as us they would’ve left the buds to fatten up properly before they ate them though.

They won't eat the buds . there only interested in leaves and new shoots.

Nobody makes them eat the apples

Apparently chilli and garlic spray does work. And kinda killing two birds with one stone considering it’s good to deter pests as well. Tobasco sauce was suggested and also sprinkling blood and bone around the site too.

Don't sprinkle blood and bone around the place whilst you have a grow in the ground....Every critter in a klm will be ripping into the ground.
