Pretty fucking rich from a bloke charging $200 a pack. And as someone who has been growing since the early 90's terps havnt changed all that much. Just a lot more hype and bullshit these days
I think if I were to give a fuck about what other people said or were doing I’d take his advice over pretty much anyone’s when it came to something like cannabis varieties there wouldn’t be many guys that have seen or grown the amount he has. There wasn’t the amount of distinct flavours going round in the 90’s as there is now nowhere near the amount in saying that most of my top 5 strains are from the early to mid 90’s I’d pay $1000 a pack for some genuine early 90’s Sensi gear but I wouldn’t grow anything from them or virtually any other Dutch companies gear now even if you paid me $1000 to do it

They could be just getting a little tired to, leaves will move up and down over the cycle.

if the one bulb will do the job just change out the HPS for the MH.

HPS will do the job of cause but the MH spectrum is better for vegging.

Big girls you have their. Lookin to flower soon or going to veg them until it warms up and put in the ground outside?
Yeah I plan to repot into 52L pots again, shouldve already been done I’m behind atm. But yeah was gonna let them settle in those for a few weeks then flip so harvest will be around mid sep.
I hear what you’re saying about the pests from outside too, but they just look so damn happy when they’re under sun. And I hose them every couple of days and still use neem once a week which seems to keep a lot at bay. And like I’ve mentioned prior I’ve got every garden pest known to oz in my normal garden lol, so I’m always gonna have to be vigilant. Once they’re in the big pots tho I won’t be able to move them round anymore so they’ll finish off under lights only. Can’t wait to see the different end product between last time with sun and this time with lights.

Scored a pack of Copper Chem for $40 Au delivered. Hopefully find a nice stable male in them
Haha i literally had that in my cart and before i could check out it was removed because price changed. I bet it was you lol. Congrats. Should be some fire in there for sure. Great price too.

Auctions will be going cheap for the next few because most people cashed out on the sale.

Not sure if you have enough light for plants that size unless you go vert bare bulb double stacked 600’s

Holy fuck whaaaaaaat?? I reckon you’re having a bit of a chuckle after writing that lol. You know I barely know what I’m on about now as it is. Can u show me a pic of what u mean?
Oh and I just got this email from place I ordered the bulb from. Should I just scrap the hortilux and go with the one they suggest or just stick to what I already have?

“Thank you for your order

Unfortunately the lamp is out of stock here and at the Australian Distributor.

We apologise for inconvenience

Our options are

  • replace the lamp with what I consider to be the equivalent - GE PSL super HPS grow lamp - cost $80 plus postage - which will result in a partial refund of the balance as well (this lamp has been available for around 12 months and is not widely known yet)
  • Cancel the order and send a full refund
  • Obtain the lamp via a wholesaler we deal with in the USA - I would estimate 1-2 weeks to arrive and around $190 delivered to you after postage by air and other costs are taken into account - if this is what you want to do we will arrange it immediately and send you the balance of money to pay
As a fan of Hortilux lamps - I will continue to try and get these lamps into stock - At the moment the GE PSL lamp is producing such positive and animated responses from my customers I would tend to recommend you give the GE a try as it is the premium lamp on the Australian market and one of the best in the world at the moment.”

You could hit some big numbers on those sized plants with vert bulbs
This is going to sound so ditsy and ridiculous to you, but prior to this growing in winter, indoors, lights, spectrums, ballasts etc etc, my brain hadnt really wrapped around the whole light thing. Like when I flipped the last ones in the room, there were only two 500w HALOGEN of all things lights that would switch on for beginning of light cycle until I’d wake up and pull the roof off. And during summer that room gets a constant amount of sun but no where near 5hours DIRECT on each plant! In my head the only purpose those lights were serving was to wake them up for the 12/12. (Hope this is making sense). But yeah and u saw the size of those ones. They were double these ones, I should’ve pulled a pound off each one! It wasn’t until someone put it to me this way “that I grew them under the best light available, the sun, and then when I put them to work in flower I literally halved their “food” source”! And so considering that it really shocks me now to think I even got what I did even chopping out the bottoms when I had the mould threat, AND the quality I managed to get!! I know u find it hard to believe i grew any kind of “fire” but I must have got damn lucky cos I was over the moon smoking it each and every night! . I was stupid and didn’t leave myself enough trying to help as many as I could and ran out last week. Have had a couple favours returned since and am so f’ing disappointed compared to what I grew. That’s 100% honest! And so I’m not saying I did some fantastic grow, just that that was a fantastic strain!! For me anyway. My perfect buzz.

Anyway that big spiel was just to say I’ve only cottoned on to the whole lighting thing in the last couple of weeks, oblivious before. So yeah can’t wait to see what happens this time. Just gotta try and get these lights right!!

This summer tho am modifying the room/roof to get that constant direct sunlight on them when I flip. I love gardening in general and outdoor growing I find pleasurable. This indoor I’m finding really stressful and have them on my mind all day just trying to work shit out with minimal help really apart from good ol google.

Oh seems I fixed the yellowing and crispy tips for now after switching to canna. The self ph’ing concept of what I was using is a good one but it finally did it’s dash with me as u can’t self adjust when there’s issues. I tried to tho and nearly killed them! They’re loving the canna so far tho so fingers crossed!
