The easiest way to deal with salt buildup and the associated PH issues is to not get buildup in the first place,so in coco that means ensure you get enough run off at each watering (10-15% or about 2%with drip clean),never let it dry out fully and don’t over do it with the nutes
So that’s what has me wondering the cause of this. I never feed over 1/2 strength, I never over or under water or let the medium dry out — only to when top 2inches feels dry and I’m always sure to get approx. 10-20% runoff. So it’s got me a little fucked what’s happened to cause this?
Edit — Well apart from the self adjusting ph nutes I use. That’s why I think I need to change to something different so I can be in control of the ph.

You need to check the run off and it will tell you what not on point
