Aussie Growers Thread

I have a few of these varieties from a grower in america. The pure indica varieties don't like the Aussie heat but the ,rhino and jack herer are going crazy. I'm away on a weeks holiday at the moment but I need to build the cages rounder due to the massive side growth. Ended up with 14 outdoor clones fully rooted in soil plus another 30 halfway through rooting. The cssh may only reach 4 foot tall. Seems to be a very stocky short strain
I like pushing indicas in our environment the paki valley was nice plant for the pheno I lucked with

I seem to have more success with sativa dominant strains. Still have maybe 300 auto seeds to plant after xmas
It’s tricky finding a nice heavy indica strain that will harden right up in a high humidity environment then there’s the matter of sifting through them to find one that has some resistance to mould, they are out there but it’s always a gamble. I won’t grow anything with too much Afghan in its breeding I’ve had too many mould out and stay fluffy if the humidity hangs round into March.

Like I've come across pure indica's in the bush but I just get the fuck out of there . some people can grow them in the heat. But its like you said the more indica the more chance of mold. I've harvested over 70 autos so far and not one bit of mold. They really done a great job with auto ultimate . just paid for an order for auto white widow from pyramid seeds, moonshine haze from rare dankness, auto west coast og from fastbuds . ended up with 11 free seeds.

They biggest issue I find is that they will never really harden up with humidity above 70% in my spot it hasn’t dropped below 90% in about 6 weeks and won’t get below that till the end of Feb,it’s great growing conditions but not the best for flowering.

Good to hear the autos are working for you,I just can’t get into them I tried convincing myself but I just can’t lol but I’m always happy when someone tries something new and pulls it off :)

You seem to have a spot that you can go for those really bushy ones that you grow,it’s a good lesson that you have to know your environment and how to work with it and use it to your advantage not try and fight it.
I think your spot on
I think I'm lucky we tend to have a gd run weather wise towards the last 2 months flower...touchwood
So far I know the closer I get to a 50/50 hybrid the bigger those plants grow in my area but I will take Indica dom anyday

The sharksbreath is loving being topped she looks like she will be the bigger of the 2 but the sour k looks stronger
The Sharksbreath ((Great white shark (white widow(Brazilian x South Indian hybrid)x skunk(Columbian x Mexican x Afghan)) x Jamaican Lambsbreath) is really different from 90% of the strains out there it will be an interesting one. It’s also the mother of the Martian Mene Green which won a cup I’m pretty sure.
