I get around kmoo :). My freaking bubblegums are still flowering, and though the plants looked ugly there are a few good bud sites and I just nabbed 6 clones off the lower branches so all is not lost.

Lol it's not easily possible to convert from gallons to opening diameter in mm haha, and it's not that important. Just go by how big they look, it will be a much easier. Or just covert the gallons to litres to help your approximate the size.

hey begginer bloomer.dont bother with canna when first starting.i have had great results with dutchmaster gold.give it a go.just be sure to give it a flush once a week as the nutrient does chrystalize a bit.add a bit of superthrive and always check the ph.as long as you have sufficient lighting and ventilation you will grow filth!!

If it's someones first time then I'd advise getting the cheapest nutes available in your local hydro store. When youre buying a big name you're not buying quality, you're buying quality control. Spend your $$ when it's crucial that you can have full confidence in your nutes, otherwise spend half the money and run the slightest risk of getting a bad batch. Your plant doesnt give a shit what brand it's getting, so just give it the micros and macros and adjust according to your plants needs.

sorry but i disagree. i have recently switched from a cheap 1 part veg nutes, Flairform, to Dutch Master 2 part veg nutes and there is a noticable change in the way the plants grow. in my opinion if you are looking to grow quality then use quality nutes. stay away from the cheap and nasty if you can. i am not saying go out and buy the top of the line nutes, just stay away from the bottom. compare the analysis on the bottles and see what you think. the more expensive ones are better. but its all comes down to each persons budget.

Again it's not because if the brand but because of the different properties of the nutrients. It's not because of the brand that your plants are doing better, it's because they're gettig what they need in nutrients. I always read my bottles, and brand names don't simply have more or better.

You went from a 1 part to a 2 part, so if your results worsened then you'd have simply stuffed up. 2 parts are better as they allow more room to adjust to your individual plants needs, and have more space for the micros. A 3 part would be better still for the same reasons, and mixing your own nutes is better still if you're skilled. The point is still that it's not about the brand or how much it costs. Different strains like different properties in their nutrients, and you can achieve the same results as some "Dutch super micro zyme double triple part fluorescent electronic blue shit" with a brain and the desire to do so!

HaHaHaHaHaHaHa..................

The main differances I have noticed between the "cheaper" brands and the "quality" brands like canna....is the ph issues with tap water....

Is it a good idea on that level to buy Aussie brands..?
There are some companys based in Adelaide that make gr8 nutes not to X-z... like ISN SUPREME ......heard of it...????

It's my birthday party tonight :). Well it's actually just beers at a pub with 2 other mates that have birthdays in the same week, and most people have gone away for the long weekend so it will be pretty quiet.

I've just never had any issues with ph. I find that it is more dependant on your medium what ph your plants will do best in, and of course on the ph your individual plants enjoy. No doubt that you want a good ph buffer in your nutes, and it stands to reason that this is an additional cost to the nutrient manufacturer which has to be recovered in the pricing.

I used to use the same line up, now switched to Canna & Cyco nutrients and have never looked back.
Happy Birthday to all those older folks..
