attitude seeds? wtf

i bought a few hundred dollars in babe's. thwey been down for like 7 days and only like 4 have come out. wtf. i am experienced. what should i do? like some of them came out maybe an 1/8 of an inch and thats it..dudddd. hydrofarm heating pad, rapid rooters, good water, humidadome, and a 4 light t5 setup from hydrofarm. nothing cheap. i dont understand and im stressn out and getting quite upset

You mean you planted them 7 days ago and only 4 ('like 4'? does that mean 3 or 5?) germinated? How many seeds are a few hundred dollars worth (like 4 out of how many)?

Do you also mean that of the like 4 that germinated they only grew 1/8 of an inch and stopped growing or died?

Sounds like you need to take a deep breath a take a little time to explain what the problem is... reread, use spell check...
For example, what method did you use to germinate? What strain are you germinating? What are your temps/humidity?

If you're so sure you did everything right than I would contact Attitude and let them know.

Ok sorry im just stressed,lol. I planted 7 days ago, all in a rapid rooter. Temp in the room is 70. 4 out of 50. Thats 8%,lol. No good!!!!! Humid. Is about 55%. They are under a humidity dome. Good on that. I have years of exp. With this and this is unusual. They do need light to germ. Right? I have spent a lot of money here. 4 out 0f 50, no good im pissed. I contacted attitude, no response yet. But they should be poped by now right, at least 45 of them anyhow,,,,,right?????

And no, 4 are out and look wonderful. Some of the others didnt pop at all. Some did, grew out just a snipit like 1/8" and thats where they are still today. I dont overwater, only evry other day if that, or whenever needed

I'm not experienced with contacting attitude but from what I hear if you tell them you germinated the seeds and they didn't work they could care fuckall since you are supposed to be collecting as souvenirs. you are supposed to tell them the seeds cracked in transit or something - assuming you got guaranteed shipping. I just put down over 20 seeds from the tude and in 4 days I expect to see 20 sprouts. By the way I'm doing the same thing you are - Rapid rooters, pH 6.0 water with small amount of liquefied sea kelp, mondo tray and dome, heat pad. And my temps get way lower than yours... only thing I can think of in your setup would be too much heat as 70 is pretty warm ambient temp to be using a heat pad. especially if they started coming up then slimed up and died or browned up things like that generally heat.

sounds like u have the same problem i had theyll tell u they cant talk about germination bs... then theyll tell ya to send them back so i would suggest u put a pile of poop in a bag and let them open it

7 days doesn't sound like long enough to go off all crazy meng. It usually takes at least a week, give it some time. Assuming you popped the beans straight in and kept them moist they will come up. After about 10 days I'd start to get a bit worried, but think 3-4 days to germinate (at worst) and 3 days to sprout from there...that's about typical man and while they should be up, not every seed is "typical".

What breeder did you order the seeds from? I know attitude delivered them , but what company produced your beans?

good point, seed can take 7 days to crack open - thing is usually after cracking it is only 2 or 3 before they pop out of the spongy little life cakes.

panicking and contacting attitude would be a last resort in any case for me.. if they don't germ you should be able to send them back anyways... and if they do germ and don't make it out of a rapid rooter? well prolly your fault LOL

i had 5 out of 5 duds when i ordered too, my bag seed works great. i have just been cloning them instead. i emailed them stating they were defective souvenirs, attitude emailed me back asap and said if i returned them, they would replace.... never mailed them back.

like mentioned - the fact that you guys are getting duds from attitude means fuck all about attitude. its like buying bad doritos at 7-11 ; do you blame 7-11?

I got an order with a missin seed will see what they say about it tomorrow (missing seed - still in breeder pack - this I DO blame on attitude). This far they have been real pleasant to work with - I don't see what so bad about sending the seeds back you guys losing them in a mass of dirt or something? I put down about 20 bag seeds recently and all of them looked good and only about 12 germed - just how things go - you only need one plant to make a mother of.

i have had seeds take 2 weeks to pop before under optimum conditions. just takes time.

We'll see. I hope so. So should i lower the ambient temp? 70 opt. Right. These all mostly came from greenhouse. Got ams, arjans haze 2, church. And some sweet cream. I hope they crack, we'll see. I just hate wasting all that money. Dorito's cost 1.00. I payed 239

ok its been 2 weeks, some more have came out but not 289 dollar resluts

I did a test run on a small order at attitude seeds . I bought seeds on dec.20 and they came today dec. 30. I didnt even go stealth just the cd case .

sounds almost like they were too warm in the begining... bacteria love warmth and darkness... and taproots

Ive had bout 65-70 strains from them. All breeder, all flavors. The only ones that didnt work was dinafems lemon sumthin. Ive never used rapid rooters either. Good ole' soil and h2o. Dunno. Hope they make it right. +rep for u cause thats all I can offer

fuck a rapid rooter ill use it to clone but not germ i think i fucked off a few of my seeds trying something new...I have for ever soaked and paper towel but since i got these name brand seed i though i would try what so recommended the only plants i still got alive are the ones i started before hand and the couple i took out and put straight in to dirt...

seriously i've used the soak in cup of water overnight method then transfered to wet warm paper towel in plastic baggy with no failures
