Atreum Lighting QB's.

I like that design much more than PLC's.

The first moment I saw the PLC strips I thought, why the heck does a professional make such an obvious mistake with the gerber files?!? Strips are used 8-12" away from the tops?!?
Much better red coverage with this strips here; they look almost like Sammys horti strips but with a much better indoor siutable 4k+660nm spectrum.

Nope, there are settings or possible circuit designs where either the one or the other has no effect. They both work together and one limits each other. When the driver runs in CC mode it means you can always "get" the full current of the driver but you can dimm the current down to 50%. He skipped a few things and should have more often mentioned when the driver use the CC mode.
Rule of thumb is, if the voltage of the connected LED modules falls in the CC region the driver use the CC mode. If the voltage of the circuit is higher it works in CV mode means when the connected LED module needs more than the nominal voltage.
If you use an HLG-120H-48A for instance to run a 54v QB you need to set the voltage regulator at maximum which is 53v(or a bit more). The driver would work in CV mode also when the boards takes less the 2amps at 53v. And if you dimm the current regulator down it would still work in CV mode. Only when you reach the point below 48v he would switch in CC mode but at 48v the board would be already off or take only 100mA or so.
If you use the HLG-120H-54A and set the voltage to 60v and enable all available current flow the voltage would go above 54v and the driver would work in CV mode. In this mode you get the most power out of this driver and you can get up to 165w out of an HLG-120.
Meanwell offers test reports for all their drivers and only in this reports you can see what you really can get out of their drivers. Below is from HLG-320H-C series but they are available for the CV drivers too.
So according to that test. The 320h is most efficient closer to 100% load. I'm pulling 13.33A of 13.34A so I'd say I'm pretty close.

Yeah, I wondered the same. But it sometimes seems to be tantamount to heresy around here if you question PLC.

Wonder what CRI would be on that strip. Real nice.
Probably near 90. When you add ~10-20% deep red the spectrum shifts ~300-500°k to the warmer side and CRI will increase by 5-10%. Osram has used this technique for many years and in the most cases its even more efficient like a CRI90 COB for instance.

He could change that strip layout easily with the next delivering. PLC strip v2 so to say..

eight 144.2 at 60 watts per in 3x4x8 bloom room . had the meanwells already so that savedView attachment 4258194 a bunch of coin.

time to start some seeds!

thanks @Humple and @whytewidow : went with diffuse light sources at 4000K.
Lookn good. All these builds with bigger boards and got this one from waveform is making me want to build one for my veg tent. I think maybe I'll use this waveform board in the center. Then on the longs sides put (3) H inFlux_L04 in 5k on each side for a total of 6. And (2) H inFlux_s04 in 4k on each side for a total 4. Push the L04s with a HLG-150H-24A, the s04s with a HLG-120H-24A and the center waveform board with a hlg-100h-24A for a total of 370+ watts for my veg light. Essentially just making the 12" ×24" panel bigger. For a 32x32 veg tent. Should veg rather well.

I bought 6 of these atreum boards i wanted to power them with a 600w driver any suggetstions how too? For a 5x5 space.
