make sure you pick the job guaranteed ,work on the helicopters or at least the turbine engines
If you don't join with a guaranteed job, you will regret it. Recruiters will try to con you into taking a job that you don't really want to do. They don't care about you, they only care about their quotas.
I suggest thinking long and hard about EXACTLY what job you want. Be specific, and do lots of research.
Remember, the recruiter is NOT your friend.
Finally, think about the branch that you want to join.....
Army- You go to the desert, A LOT. Poor living conditions, however you have the option to be a Warrant Officer.
Air Force- Good living conditions, fewer desert rotations (job dependent). Laid back (job dependent). Cons are shit tons of worthless training, oversensitive nancy boys.
Marines- You'll love the Marines because they are EXCELLENT at brainwashing you. Best recruiters out there, careful before talking to them, they'll have you bleeding red&gold before you leave the office and shouting *HOO YAH*.
Navy- Full of retards in close proximity. Very rank conscious. Excellent deployment opportunities. Great chow halls.
Coast Guard- Incredibly laid back, however these guys are used as drug war lap dogs. Excellent duty stations.
No matter which branch you choose, do not do drugs while you're in. If you recieve a
dishonorable discharge you'll be lucky to ever get a decent job again, maybe McDonalds mop boy?
