They look great for only a month but are showing signs of stress (either heat or moisture) evidenced by the leaf's serated edges curling up

well could it be because of misting?

i just stopped doing that a couple days ago

most usually not caused by misting, the curling edges indicate that the plant is transpiring to hard/fast and is most usually caused by to much heat but can also be due to improper humidity levels as well
