Why are they the most powerful?
because it has the highest affinity towards miu-opioid receptors of all endogenous endorphins.

It's mainly produced by the pituitary gland and has amazing positive effects on the body (lowers cancer formation, improves muscle tone etc), but can become very addictive if administered in too high doses (this doesn't happen naturally, only through use of endorphin-like drugs). That's why it's so hard to get off heroin, cocaine, opium, methadone or any other opioid drug.

I hope you're asking out of curiosity and not to test my medical skills...

I can't really test them.. I'm a well read layman in neurology, but nothing more.. If you hadn't even been able to provide that then I could assume you were fake, but unless I stumble across that exact text somewhere (and it doesn't read like an excerpt) I can't delve much deeper than that critically..
As a neurologist then, what are your observations on long-term/short-term use of various drugs? What 'pops' as interesting on the neurological level??

This sounds like an interesting discussion subject. In all the trials I've participated and read about there are many substances that always amaze me:

1. DMT - although the drug has no significant effect on the body, the mind is clearly and indisputably changed after even one use. We've had 100% addiction recovery from strong heroin, coke and other substance abusers after 2-3 sessions of DMT. Even thou the physical withdraw symptoms were present, all subjects reported no mental anguish or strong desire to reuse the addicting substances.
It's still a mistery how exactly a sudden change like this can occur. Most of my colleages believe this is caused by a "short circuit" between dopamine releasing neurons and other simple stimulants, meaning that the patient no longer needs to use endorphine-like compounds to release dopamine. In time, the short circuit changes to normal and dopamine secretion respects normal levels and frequencies.
I personally would administer DMT to all addicts and to all patients who tend to show mild or intermediate phycotic symptoms, except for schyzofrenics, where I still have my doubts.
I know of ony one uncomfortable issue regarding DMT. In high quantities (over 0.7mg/kg) it will cause very nasty effects and may even induce spontanous labour and heart attack in patients with cardiovascular problems (Blood pressure rises over 180/120 for a normal person). This is why 0.4mh/kg is the highest I'd recommend if you do an IV. Otherwise, 40-50mg smoked is also good.

2. LSD - The following sentance may be hard to swallow: LSD actively and unquestionably increases IQ. Amazingly, it has an incredible effect on brain cell growth and on synapse formation. Reflexes are also heightened by the use of LSD.
The only adverse effect of LSD appears when administered too frequently. Daily use may cause depression, because the constant rise and fall of serotonin will affect brain chemistry. Weekly use is perfectly safe.

3. Methamphetamines - one of the strangest drugs on the market. It's use will drastically affect brain functions. We did organize a trial using this substance and ended up wishing that we wouldn't have. It is remarcably addictive. Occasional use of small quantities is very stimulating, compared to some 3-5 cups of coffee.
I would recommend you NEVER touch this stuff. A "regular" dose will cause severe insomnia, high blood pressure and over time will lead to deep phycosis, halucinations and a deformed perception of reality that can be, in few cases permanent.
The biggest problem with this drug is the shut down of the hypotalamus. Regular use leads to sleeplessness. No sleep for 2 weeks puts your body and mind under the strangest stress due to lack of REM sleep. Eventually your hypotalamus shuts down resulting in fever, halucinations, lack of interest in food, sex or sleep. If this continues, in 6 months - 1 year you are mentally dead. Coma is sure to set in after 1 year of heavy meth use, where the subject refuses to sleep or eat.

I kind of expected alcohol to be in the list.. I've actually covered most of that through reading, but could you elaborate a bit on the DMT addiction treatment procedurally/statistically?
On the topic of LSD and brain cell growth, I read that THC was found to have a similar effect in the thalamus..

4. Coffee - Yeah...you're thinking...wtf?!... After 7-8 cups of coffee, the normal non-caffeine-using patient will perceive hallucinations of the weirdest kind. The effect is similar to shrooms. Both caffeine and psylocibin block the adenine receptors in the reticulated centers (not sure it's called so in english) in the brain stem. These centers have only one role, to filter information useless to the brain. When adenine is released, the centers block out most sences, helping to induce sleep. Now, with the caffeine blocking the receptors ALL information from the sensory organs is perceived.

5. My very favorite - Cannabis - sure, cannabis is the worlds most effective and wide-ranging medicinal plant in the world (see here all the great benifits of cannabis: https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/151533-medical-marijuana-uses-700-medical.html), but people don't know why this is.
You see, all of our neural and physiological functions are regulated by cannabinoid-like substances produces by our bodies (by certain brain cells) named endocannabinoids. I can't even begin to say how vitally important these are. They are resonsable for: muscle build up and muscle tonus, bone density, brain cell growth, adipocite formation, leucoite tonus.
A person who consumes cannabinoids presents much lower chances of ever cathcing a disease or of showing atrophy of any kind. Cannabis use will clearly prolong life expectancy!
Actually, you know all this fuss about not letting children use weed... it's BS. Any child with mental or psichological problems regarding atention span, hyperactivity, mental deficites should be administered cannabinoids in my opinion. It shouldn't be through smoking thou.
The most interesting case I've seen reagring cannabis use was with a 16year old boy who was going to die because of a rare genetic disease where nerve fibers loose their mieline coating (not sure if it's correct in english). He would have died because he was unable to control his muscles and would have suffocated. Cannabis inproved his condition and after 3 months of heavy cannabis use by vaporization, he was able to walk again. When he left the hospital on his own two legs, I felt a real rush of happiness.

I am now pushing for a new trial regarding mescaline... maybe in a year or so, we'll talk about that...

A opioid-addicted patient, once hospitalized in a single-bed room, will receive his first DMT dose intravenously in the morning, before eating. A nurse sits next to the patient while the DMT is in affect, and a while longer. Immediately after the trip, the nurse asks standardized questions off a chart. Questions are: what emotions did you develope during the trip, did you feel the need for coke/heroine after the trip, what sences were active and inhibited during the trip, were you conscious of the real world, what time span did you perceive to have passed in yout trip etc. 60 min after the patient regains consciousness, he is allowed to eat. After breakfast new questions are asked: how do you feel, do you need to score, did you feel hungry, or tired etc.

Withdrawl symptoms are present: shakyness, fever, sweat, low blood pressure etc. Yet mentally speaking the experience seems to change the focus of the neural system from dopamine to something else, still unknown. Practically the user looses interest in doing coke/heroine in some degree. Most say that they'd still do it for the gist of it.

3 days later another DMT dose is administered. Same questions, same schedule. This time, interest in opioids has dissapeared completely.

A week later, another dose. Patients now actively refuse coke/heroin use.

We keep them for another week for observations and for the withdrawl effect to reduce.

Out of 452 patients, 3 rebegan to use crack due to peer pressure, yet after a week they abbandoned the habit. After 3 years all of them are still off opioids.

No alcohol study was funded, because the hospital administrator is an alcoholic and an ass and won't hear of it...

I've seen alot of studies that seem to indicate that cannabis use amogst young kids with problems was very often beneficial, but none that have followed the patients into adulthood..
Why cannabis via vaporization with more dosage controlled forms of thc/analogues?
I do know that cannabis is much better than Baclofen, a GABAb receptor agonist [Lioresol/Kemstro] for managing muscle spasms due to mild cerebral palsy.. Even at dosages too low to really detect psychoactively..

Ever do any studies involving the more potent THC isomers?

I didn't understand the first question, sorry mate.

We hardly got the gov approval for our first cannabis study, but a colleague is pushing for another cannabis trial, regarding the effects on schizophrenia and mental retardation.

I will admit I have no competent knowledge regarding synthetic cannabinoids.

I am not picking a fight. I just call bullshit when I smell it.

Your statement about quad and triple stack pills shows your ignorance to the pill scene/trade.

I am asking you to prove what you are trying claim. Are you unable to do that?

bro, maybe you need the input of an outsiders perspective. you are starting a fight and acting like a jerk off. just drop it. not to mention i've heard of double and tripple stacked. if he hurt your feelings go take a x pill.. then pm him and ask for his friendship!

I'm not up on the legalities of it.. I was under the impression that both were being used in Canada, but perhaps I was reading about trials on the drug itself..
What do you know about the weed you used? I know that cannabis obtained through Health Canada is pretty dismal.. Tested at mediocre potency, and comes ground up to near powder except for the stems/seeds..

Drop the attitude man, you know it's easy to make crystals, plus you'd hesitate to post any pictures too if you were in my shoes. Don't pass judgment without any facts.

I actually got a gov approval to grow the stuff myself in the hospital. Grew some Alaskan Ice, since I know it has over 21% THC. I really wanted the trial to be realistic regarding pot potency.

Don't know about Canada, but we don't have actual health institutes or companies that grow weed.

JoeBananas, I do understand that you like picking fights, but I really don't care for them, seem like a waste of time to me. For a DMT puffer, you don't seem to enlightened in that matter, but hey, not my beeswax.
I'm just gonna be nice and ask out of curiosity, is any of that n,n-DMT, cause they're only inscriptioned as DMT or 5-meo-DMT?
Why are some of those brown? Here's how to filter and crystalize: http://www.dmt-nexus.com/forum/default.aspx?g=posts&m=28289 Just press on the link in the first post and download the DMT handbook...

Is Alaskan Ice as good as they say?
That can't be what you administered though can it, its a pretty new strain to have been grown out and used in a study..
