Anyone using the Timber model-4vs in a 3x3x6 tent?

Both grows before this one I had had great success with a the trellis/SCROG. But I did find it very limiting not being able to move pots around. So I am debating this time to simply LST from the pots. OR, SCROG last week of veg-3rd week of flower, and then remove trellis and tie down limbs if necessary. In my head it should be ok because they should be done growing vertically & moving.
Yea, I forsee this to be an issue in a bit, right now we're just starting to reach the trellis, so I can pull it up and plants out for maintenance. In like 2 - 3 weeks that's unlikely.

Yup that’s exactly how my Blue Cookies & Blackberry went for me. Both in 7gal now. What does your normal watering and feeding look like, particularly when you say you are bottom feeding. Water from top and bottom during the same time, or swap on and off so you can still get a gauge on runoff?

This is a good point on the risers I will say.... I am up in the air, generally I want to be able to feed/water more often because it means we got some booming growth in there. And easier to check runoff PH, limit humidity by emptying tray after drip.

When I water, I'll start with like 1/2 gallon in the bottom of the pot, and wait for that to get absorbed. When it does, I'll do another 1/2 gal into the top. Usually a little bit more and water will start to leak out the bottom again, and we're full saturated. This method has me watering 2 times a week, maybe three. One watering when I give them dry amendments and one with Urb.

I can just eye-dropper up any runoff from the catch-pan with or without a riser. It's really about how dry to do want your soil to get. (I think... I've only been growing since June!!!)

Sounds like a pretty promising routine though! I have only been growing for about a year, and have done shit loads of research for tips and techniques. But trial and error is the best learning tool so talking with other growers is very helpful.

I will have to post some pictures on here to document for you as well. Very excited about the sour berry blue once I can sex them. A pretty new strain by The Farm in Boulder.

Quick update - this tent is getting out of control, I could have let these ladies veg a bit less, or wish I had another foot of vert.

Loving this Timber 4VS and loving the Connoisseur Genetics. I could improve my feeding regime and possible add some supplemental lighting (far red?) next run.

I have topped and trained previously, and the last run of Southern Passion was flowered under this 4vs, but I've never let the plants grow out naturally, so I'm doing that this run. All I've done is bend to keep the canopy height somewhat uniform.

This tent is all feminized plants, and it's so much easier and straight forward. My other 3x3 is normal photos, and it took 6-8 weeks in 6" pots to get sex to show... Meanwhile my fem plants went right from starters to 6" then 5gal, in 2 weeks less time.

I was using some cheapo amazon risers, but I found my soil to drain out to quickly, so I removed them. I actually like having the water standing at the bottom of the tray. It allows me to bottom feed (which is great to inspire root expansion, and it seems to keep the soil damper longer, so I can go further between feedings. Check out Eastcoasterdam's risers, I think it's called Clean Roots, they are 10x more sturdy than what you can get on amazon. That said... I stopped using them!

I may end up regretting not topping... but I have 4 plants in 5gallon pots in a 3'x3' tent... so bushy isn't great. Hopefully we don't have absurd stretch. I'll be stripping the bottom 1/2 maybe 2/3rds soon as well, likely end of week 2 in flower.
I used wooden clothes pins to create runoff space , underneath 5 and 7 gallon fabric smart pots. And circular plastic drain trays UNDER the clothespins.

Whelp.... this combo of timber 4vs, connoisseur genetics, coast of maine soil and greengro dry ammendments working out well...

We're on day 44 of flowering, and I suspect these will go 10 weeks (70+ days). Crazy to imagine they'll continue to bulk up for another 2 weeks or so. This run is gonna set a pretty high bar for my expected yeilds from this setup going forward if I can keep things on track.

Been a while without an update... work/life/gardening take priority you know how it goes. Anyway... this grow has been a massive success, pics below. Major props to Connoisseur Genetics. Timber LED, Coast of Maine soil, Urb Microbes, Green Gro dry nutrients & element nutrients flower fuel. I'm a rookie trying to learn, those products drove the success. I've chopped plants 2 & 4 on Sunday. Number 2 had a nice fade going and was showing a few signs of being finished, number 4 had the fade & suffered from some late ph issues or nutrient lockout, so she got chopped as well. 71 days on those two. Plants 1 & 3 are still rocking at day 75 (today), 3 being the real hazy looking one is almost fully orange pistils and partially faded. plant 1 is still green and mean, pistils are still popping and yellow (tho a lot of orange ones too)... she's looking like 11+ weeks. (but shit... I got more plants I need to pot-up, veg and flip! Patience has been key!!!! When you say "they look done" let em run!

The main cola on plant number 2 or 4... I can't recall.
