Anyone up for helping one more noob with his when to chop question?

1st Grow, day 57 of flower, 3 indica dominant & 6 sativa dominant. I once dreamt of a a pound, now dream of half that. Trichomes averaging about 60% milky with at least a bit of amber on each plant. This is aimed at you experienced types who are good at judging by looking at the bud. I am surprised to see that the sativas seem to be at least equal to the indicas, in particular seeing amberin the Chocolope. I've been trying todo my own homework, but would appreciate any feedback to help me get this right as I am now getting too dizzy looking through magnifiers to be objective. thanks.

LSD, Indica, advertised: 55-65 days

Wappa, Indica, advertised: 55-60 days

Blue Widow, Indica, advertised: 50-55 days


Tangerine Dream, Sativa, 3 plants, advertised: 10 weeks

Chocolope, Sativa, 3 plants, advertised 63-70 days.

They are done.... Harvest those bitches.... As long as you have flushed..... If not, start flushing now, and chop em in like 5 days

Just a bit of amber. I'm thinking of going dark tonight for 36 and then start cutting over a 2 day period. Everything is well flushed. I'm mostly surprised at the speed of the sativas. I'm going to check trichomes after 36 to decide on cutting order. Every once in a while though I think, most everybody seems prone to making another of the rookie/eager mistakes by cutting a little early.

FWIW, I grew out Blue Widow and Woppa. Woppa took 9 weeks to finish and BW took 10. YMMV

man you need like 2 more weeks on everything imo...the last 2 weeks will really pack on the weight

I posted in my grow journal yesterday that whenever someone asks this question the answer is always 2 more weeks! I guess that I've got some time before I fuck everything up by going too amber.

just from looking at the leaves the chocolope and tangerine could probably be harvested the soonest, most of the leaves on the other plants still have color but u can see r turning down and shriveling on the tips which means your close, wait another week for the others atleast, plants look great tho man congrats on getting to this point

Thanks everyone for the help and encouragement! I just had a look at them through the magnifier and decided I've still got more time. I kind of have to search for amber. I've got 4 plants from grow #2 in the third week of veg that I'm going to FIM and start to train to distract me from making the rookie mistake of premature chopping. I'm fortunate the plants look this good as I did make most of the major rookie errors along the way!

I never mind posting a journal; I am a photographer and am constantly documenting the grows anyway. Plus, these are photos I can't share on Facebook! Being new here, I wondered about the etiquette of grow journal posting. I've had one going for nearly 4 months now on my first grow. I wonder if I keep posting my own journals it would be like, too much talking and not enough listening. Do you see it differently? I''m happy to do it if it's helpful to others.

i think over half of the people on this site including me are on here to observe how others grow and learn from it, and if u r a photographer starting a journal would be perfect, the more detailed upclose pictures you have the better response you will get, i dont think anyone would be pissed cuxz your rambling on, thats kinda what this site is for haha
