Anyone try a red heat lamp in a tent before to help with LED heating?

I been thinking about this for the last two months. Check out therabulb. They have a great spectrum 600nm+ so you get all red plus a ton of IR. They do a 150W bulb. But I'd only run it for like 6h a day in case the IR causes too much stretch or heat stress.
I looked at therabulb at one time too, it has a better spectrum than the reptile bulbs. I opted instead of going for a heat lamp bulb, I can’t really say with much certainty it helped becauseI hadn’t really dialed in my grow room at that point

Currently 82f in there, all the leaf’s have perked up, and turned the light up abit. They are mucho happy, I’m hoping this helps fix my calcium issues by creating more transpiration and overall water uptake.

Once again, thank you all.

I’ve used clip lamps with cfl to raise temps for the seedling stage seeing how there is no heat radiating off the light or driver at low dimmed levels. 97C57925-C317-48DC-B4F6-EE03251D8452.jpeg

I'm flowering soon if I can't get the temps up with 720w led i was going to try a 250hps with a 240w board on each side of it?

I've a 150w hps kicking around that might be worth digging out.

Same issues with me using LED. Maybe I’ll try this heat lamp as it’s better than running at 2kw space heater!!

What about adding a small gas powered heater that is safe for indoor use?
It will have the added benefit of generating plenty of CO2 for the plants.

Otherwise, instead of adding X Watts of pure heat I'd rather add X Watts of additional lighting (if the heating is needed during the day phase). It's of course more expensive than a cheap heater or light bulb.

Shit now there growing abit too fast… victim of my own success. I threw em into flower but I’m probably going to outgrow the tent pretty quickly.

Stretch is like watching a car race toward a cliff, will it stop in time?

I think i nailed it on the height, hopefully they wont grow into the light. roughly a week and h half since flip. hopefully they are almost done stretch. I got lucky with jiggler, as long as i add a good bit more light they only stretch maybe 25-50%.
