I'm not sure if you can tell but I'm kinda new at this ;-) , Is there anyway you could recommend the right amount of what i got to work which is GH flora3part, cal-mag plus, and superthrive to my make them come back to life? I have a 5gallon res. Thought i had it down at the start. But should of purchased the pH pen sooner. It's a work in progress.

Keep in mind, you will want to feed more around the Week 1-3 schedule on that list... As you are obviously lacking nitrogen... and continue this schedule until you decide to flower, then move onto the next week schedule (for flowering)

Holy crap they recommend going up to 1400 in veg?? Those are not organic nutrients. I actually have a lot of the stuff but I haven't tried it yet. Is that true that most plants will need up to 1400 ppm when using this nutrient line?

I used this line for my first 5 grows (did not want to waste the money I spent) and had many issues the entire time. It didn't matter how I mixed the solution or calibrated my ph, there was always problems. Right now all my growing neighbors are using it and they are having constant issues. However, I have a friend up in WA. that has great luck with this series as far as yeild goes, but the high quality has never been there with his plants, no matter what strain he grows.

I have since switched to Advanced Nutrients Iguana Juice, so far I have had no problems, it's nice and clean. Luck

I've been a botanicare fan for a few years now. But I'm starting to like some of the newer lines coming out.

No wonder my friend hydro store was giving me all that shit for free. I have enough of just Gh, to last me a year. Let alone all the other free crap I have collected.

what do your roots look like? are they brown or white? why are you watering 4 times a day? i would recommend 1 or 2 time a day for 5 minutes, not 4 times a day for 15 minutes

Surely they have some nice product, their bloom boosters are good. I just question their line of basic grow/bloom nutrients. For a chemical line of nutrients calibration can get tricky and hot. I just feel safer using nutes that aren't so fussy, and perhaps I'm the fussy one, operator error we can all assume here. But along with my neighbors using this line w/ issues, many postings in the plant problems section here, and my own experience leads me to use other food in an attempt to find the perfect combo.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I think my problem was the lack of nutes. Pretty sure i was under feeding.

The roots are white. I was reading threw the forum and found a grow setup similar to mine so I kinda followed that water cycle. Seemed to work good for that garden. But I'll be backing the time down to 5min instead of 15.
