Anyone here grow or haven grown using a 300w LED grow light?

I know its not truly 300w it more like 137w, but my question is what kind od yield did you get with a 300w led light? I currently have 1 white widow under a 300W Mars Hydro, I do plans to buy another light for a future grow plus the garden will be my main garden next year (Canada Legal, grew 1 outside this year :P), but anyway I have 1 300w light currently what can I expect in terms of yield.

30-40 grams? That appears to be the mean yield if you do things right with one plant. The weak LED will cause the harvest to be delayed a bit though. Depends upon how much training and genetics though.

30-40 huh, not bad. I'm not a heavy smoker I smoke maybe have joint a day. So 30g would last me long enough until I grow another LED light plant.

That’s a lot of time to put in to get 30 grams. However if done right you can get a little more. Next light look at getting some sort of decent led Or something like cmh

once thinking of adding another 300w led. I know its along with for 30g but I have a harvest from a outdoor plant also, plus next year I may not need lights. Just something to do during the winter.

My area is 2 1/2 by 3 foot open area in a greenhouse and I’m running 4 Vero 29’s B series which are 52v rated each. Powering them with a meanwell 320H1400b I’m getting about 72watts per cob. So I’m right around 290 total. I’ve also add an Emerson board for far red.

Seven plants, all but two where grown with mainlining applied and most of veg was done with High output cfl’s before i spent the money on the cobs.

When I started indoor grows, I used blurple panels for the first couple of years and averaged about .6g/watt(actual) yield. When I built my Vero arrays last year my yield went to 1.1 g/w. I still have a pair of the original Mars 300 fixtures-each is enough to veg a proper single plant but doesn't produce enough light to flower that plant. When they are used in pairs there was enough overlap to grow a couple of small plants.

it must be at least 12inchs from the canopy to get anything worth the time. 15 inches if you put a reflective material around THE LIGHT, so it condenses the lumens in a better fashion. Light a big flashlight.

Ya my light is currently 12'' away from plant and just covers it lol,

You realize that is at least 90 plus days to grow an ounce ?
Yes. Like I said im not a heavy smoker 1 OZ probably would last me 2-3 months lol. Plus I have a big harvest from a outdoor plant so I have enough weed. I just wanna grow 1-2 plants thru the fall, winter for something to do. Then in the spring, summer im gonna grow outside again. I'm not depending on this little light to grow all my pot.

you also have to keep in mind you may need a humidifier, especially in winter months. home heating drastically reduces humidity in a home. RH under 40% will totally stop growing. 60-70% daytime( lights on) 40% night time ( lights off )

i have heard nothing but bad things about that mars.. "its not actually pulling that 300w"
check out rapidLED.com... or thecobshop. see if you can afford one of those... if not go for that 400w sunsystem...
if you let your plants veg for at least 40days and train them properly you can get a very large yield..
i just got rid of my 150w sun system.... with 2 i could hit 150g with 3 plants...
other people can do better... but i got more than .5g per watt.

I just got cobs from rapidLED and im excepting atleast 1g per watt per plant.. soo around 65g per plant.. but they are actually 65w led's

I also heard nothing bad about the mars. Apparently they get super weak after the first grow as well. A HPS or. MH bulb would totally create more harvest. You have a nice heat coming from those bulbs. The issue with HPS and MH is the electrical bill. Hence why I been posting to see alternatives And want to move onto something else. As for you LED light, how much was that costing you a month to run? Just curious.

@boilingoil a true 270 watt gave you over a pound?!? How many plants where under that light? Looks like 4-6 if I’m not mistaken. What type of light is that or is it custom?
