Running them full tilt at 1750ma would be wasting money

4 Vero 29c @ 1750 = 486.4w total. 24 Vero 29c @ 160ma = 242w.

50% less energy for the same amount of light output.

20 'extra' cobs @ 35 each, so 700 canuck bucks. You don't need heat sinks and the drivers are the same. SE don't need holders.

Those are the financials. Determining ROI and break even points depends on your own situation variables.

Other benefits:

1. Little to no heat, great for enclosed areas.
2. Will never die (unless it is your fault) LM80 = infinity
3. Easy to expand. Lego lights. They connect to each other.
4. Eliminate the need for big heat sinks.
5. More light sources gives better options to optimally cover an area.
6. Lower power draw is safer.
7. Great for testing!

All depends on what you want. Save money upfront with lower number of light sources or get more light sources and save on energy.
