I have 11 Lovely Blueberry plants 2 weeks into veg and all of a sudden the leaves have started rolling back on themselves and cupping over like you would roll a joint. It is at the very early stages and after reading the stickys have narrowed it down to 2 problems. either over fertilisation(mostly nitrogen) or overwatering, the first of which is most likely.
The plants are in my tried and tested method(10+ healthy, heavy harvests unter my belt with various strains) of 15l pots using Plagron Batmix soil which has fertilizer in it under a 600w and 400w MH with airflow, good temp etc etc. I water every 2 or so days(quite cool here presently, UK) and have used low doses of BioBizz Fishmix and Grow + some Rhizotonic all Ph'd at 6.5-6.75. I recently added some new Iguana Juice with the last watering at a higher ppm then went to check yesterday after 2 days and the curling/drooping had started. The plants still look very healthy, dark green, no yellowing/discolouration, just the effect on the leaves so I ruled out overwatering as quite simply I haven't so it must be over fertilisation and I am in the process of flushing. The only two problem outlines that fit are overfert and overwater so if it is overwater i'm screwed as im flushing quite heavily. The leaves are quite limp but as I said before, very early stages and plants are still looking very healthy, help a fellow grower revive his lovely blueberrys, over to you Rollitup, thanks...............:weed:

could be over N. why are you giving nutes at 2 weeks?
I may have underexplained, the plants have been vegging for 5 weeks in total, 3 weeks under 250w envirolite till 4-6 inches and esablished then transferred to the 15l pots and the 600w+400w so were ready for low nutrient doses. I thought it may be over N, leaves are lush green and very bushy, just are droopy, weak, curling at edges adn have a paper like texture, brittle as oppose to soft and pliable. This hasn't happened before, do you think to continue flushing and foliar feed ph'd water??:wall:

...transplant it if you can into bigger pots, don't fertilize it for a couple weeks (or few) and keep a close eye on your pH.

"it" is ELEVEN plants and "it" has already been transplanted to the bigger pots as stated above, thanks for reading the thread:roll:

...eleven, excuse the hell out of me. I say transplant them because your pushing too much shit into your soil and your ELEVEN plant's roots don't have anywhere to run away from all that shit! Nowhere did you say you tried to transplant them to remedy this issue! Why in the hell would you put fertilizer in your soil 2 weeks into veg anyhow????????.... when you clearly said that the Plagron Batmix has fertilizers in it? Stupid is, stupid does I say. Do more research, or maybe even read the bags of the products you buy (that usually works for me!)

Don't get me wrong I appreciate your attempt to help but if you read post 4 all of these points are raised. this is the first time this has happened as stated above(again) is a tried and tested method, I have used the batmix every time and it is a LIGHT mix soil as oppose to unfertilized soil so after the 5 week veg as mentioned in post 4 I added a low dose of nutrients as usual and this happens hence my problem. Stupid doesn't read, then stupid replys, again I appreciate the attempt to help but if you can't even be arsed to read the thread then..................stupid?:dunce:

this is an example of my problem as I don't have a camera, any1 else??

I would just back off the nutes untill the plant says more please. Most of us tend to over nute a bit. You could flush. I don't think you need to.

I was told during my grow that LEAVES CUPPING UPWARDS is Under watering and the leaves curl up in nature to catch moisture... if the LEAVES ARE CURLED DOWN its OVERWATERING... This is what ive been told.. Please correct me if im wrong anyone..

Just a quick update, was defo over Nitrogen which turned into general nutrient burn. Could easily be mistaken for overwatering untill the small copper like dots started forming on the leaves and the tips/edges started to yellow. I watered untill a decent run off then have foliar fed pure ph'd water for 3 consecutive days, they are looking 100% better already!!
Another learning experiece for me, catching and diagnosing early is the key, hopefully this thread may help someone in the future who takes the time to research.......
