Anyone ever heard of "Mendo"

I am acquiring some seeds that I was told were called "Mendo". I know that these came from a dispensary in Sacramento, and that Mendo is short for Medocino. They are supposed to be Indica dominant, and they were also stated to be high yielding (which i could care less about because i grow for personal medical use).

I also know they cost per seed. My friend wouldnt tell me how much, because he wont let me pay him back for them. Is it normal to charge per seed, or is this normal and generally just a sign of a 'pick and mix' style dispensary?


Has anyone ever heard of a strain that was simply called "Mendo"? I've heard of "Mendo (Insert name here)" but never just "Mendo".

It would be especially helpfull if anyone had any insight into its pain relieveing or muscle relaxing properties.
