Nothing fancy here.
I got that box cutter about a year ago that flicks out really easy and I've been keeping it in the dashboard cubby hole since. Just a week ago at Home Hardware I bought the knife version, $25, that has the same push button to open it but the blade was too stiff on it's hinge to flick I guess because flick knives are illegal here. I pulled it apart and removed one of the copper thrust washers and it flicks open easy now. Couple drops of good reel oil helps. Sharpened it up so I can shave with it using a Lansky sharpening system gifted to me by @cannabineer a while back.
The belt clip can be mounted at either end of the bolster so I moved it to the other end so when clipped on my belt my hand is in the perfect position to pull it off and flick it open in one smooth motion. Just as quick as a switchblade. The belt clip on the box cutter looks like it might work better and should fit on the knife as well so I'll try that. The little Swiss Army knife with a ball point pen instead of that useless toothpick lives in whatever pants pocket I happen to be wearing at the time.

Having never been a guest of the GreyBar Hotel except for a few overnight stays I'm not at all sure of what style of Like to award that post.
For some reason, in this context, I don't think 'wallet' has the same meaning as 'billfold' as in something you keep your money and various cards in.

Im on my 2nd Kershaw Blur for an edc. Lost the first on a fishing trip and was devastated. The 14C28N steel is fantastic

A Blur was my first "nice" knife. I loved that thing. Carried it for a couple.years. it was gold with the black grippy tape on it. Man, that tape tore up some Jean pockets. Lol. I eventually passed it down to my oldest son when he started carrying a knife daily for school. He carried it up until I bought him a lower profile Kershaw that wasn't as heavy a couple years ago for his bday. I may have pimped this site before. Reliable and if you want a higher end knife (like a Randall), they don't charge an outrageous premium and you don't have to wait 6 years to get your knife.

I always carry a pocket knife, except where prohibited. I once had to mail my favorite pocket knife to myself, forgot and couldn’t get through airport security.

ever get into a knife fight with a tazer. i could do it, but it would take some skill, knives hurt and get swiped around quite a bit, dodging them is a bit of an artform

I've carried a pocket knife since early on. The first one I remember having fit the buttered out ignition of our '64 Dodge - pretty sneaky for a kid under 10 - great for listening to the radio while others were inside the building on Sunday morning.
Recently the Gerber 400 folding pocket knife was replaced with a Benchmade. Wow, what an upgrade - you can shave with it. S30V
