Anybody own a freeze dryer?

Was wondering if anybody within an hour of Toronto has a freeze dryer. I was hoping to "rent" it for a day after harvest to make some live rosin.
I'm currently saving up to buy one Christmas just put a pause in my plan.

you can usually get dry ice at a welding shop....though sometimes its only once a week....so plan ahead.

I just dont get how the dry ice removes the moisture from the bubble hash. I thought I needed a vacuum and sublimation to achieve this.

dry ice is used to separate or remove the trich's from the plant material similar to the ice and water hash made in bubble bags....
only diff is the process is a dry one with the dry ice and you are left with(depending on your method) sorted dry trich's as per each different sieve size or screen size...for bags etc.

Sublimation is the process whereby a solid goes directly to a gas, without the liquid stage. Not sure how to achieve a vacuum with it, but no doubt it is something you may need to throw some money into.
