Anybody ever use these?

Well i have spent a lot of time on here and have never seen these lights mentioned. I have actually never seen them mentioned in any of the forums I have visited.

So being very experimental I got one to try

anyway the light is a T-9 Flouresent,,,,,,,,,,,

I've seen t8's, t12's, t5's all over the place, so any one ever use T9's???

2 Color Temperatures: color temperature varies with the light bulb selected: warm white (3000K) or cool white (4100K)

This is probably why you don't see any body using them. They aren't grow lights.

Well I found them in the right temp range, the one in the photo is 6500K Daylight and I admit that they are only gonna work for a small grow (ie; one for each plant) but it was an idea that I could not let go of

Anyway, I'll let ya know how it works out

also I got the little cfl like ballast (cad32) works great NO heat

bulb has 1570 lumenes, my first idea was mixed spectrum and 360 degree coverage, I am now thinking of adding a few more after all it is an experiment

I saw those circular T5's at Osh and was wondering how to wire them up because they were super cheap 6500k bulbs. They either had 2 or 4 pinss.
