My girl got me an 8 year old Zelkova schneideriana for christmas...would appreciate any pointers. Not real sure how much and when to fertilize it...going to try to find some bonsai books at the library.
Any of yall keep bonsai trees?

Lol. I seem to touch these folks somewhere down deep. It's too personal too fast, so it makes them uncomfortable. Peace and love back at you. The gig went great, I had a couple of drinks and decided to stop by the ex gf's party, after all. Her hubby had left by the time I got there, which is fine as he is truly boring. She made really good on her promise, and pulled me onto the porch for the kiss. It was delicious, and activated my launch sequence. I tried for a bit more, but she pushed me away and whispered that she'll have me over for dinner soon when he goes out of town. Sounds good to me...

I've got a Bonsai weed plant I've been working on for well over a year now maybe closer to 2. I use it as a mother plant and keep bending it down and twisting it, and chopping it back. The body of the plant is only about 12 inches wide, and 6 inches tall.
