ill get some links for you that ive seen but already his taxing ideas the fact hes a member of the cfr he wont even pledge? thats too many already, there all part of the same team that is destroying our country slowly, and ron paul is huge on the internet because i think clearly from what we have seen its a censorship issue! somthing is screaming its not right. websites and channels have admitted that when they show or talk about ron paul their ratings and viewings go up

You must raise taxes to pay for what the repukes (Bush) has already spent. He has said he will only raise taxes on the wealthiest 2%, are you in this group? I think not or you'd have someone else growing your pot for you. You have to think about Pauls freedom agenda. It entails shutting down almost every entitlement program in the country. What is going to happen to people that depend on entitlements, instant homelessness, poverty and starvation. There are not enough charities to go around. That's one concern. Another: by removing all control over corporations, do you actually believe they will become more benevolent? Hell no is the answer. They will rule with an Iron fist. Dictating prices and wages and running rampant over the environment and our natural resources. They will outsource all possible jobs and hire foriegn workers whenever possible. The poor will be starved out of existence like in India. You may be able to grow pot legally, but the rest of the countries wonderful amenities will only be enjoyed by the wealthy. These are the hidden truths to Ron Pauls Amerika.

First of all, no, the programs wouldn't just vanish over night- if you actually took the time out to take an honest intelligent look at Ron Paul you would see that he always says that this would NOT happen over night and that he has plans to help the people who are on these programs ween off of them and stop the programs from accepting new "clients".Also, no, we don't NEED to raise taxes to pay off our deficit. If we get our military home (not just from the middle east- everywhere, why the fuck do we need manned bases in every country? we are not the policemen of the world) We could start hammering away at the deficit, without raising taxes. When you take you paycheck and you decide what you're going to buy- if you have two jobs and still need money- do you look for another job to work during those 3 hours you sleep- or do you take a hard look at how you're spending the money you already have and adjust according to what matters most. But if it's government business the just go looking for more income? Fucking ridiculous- the government shows us time and time again that they're AWFUL with money, so the answer is give more?
Your speak of corporations is humorous. Do you realize that right now, this second- the corporations do run everything, and from the looks of it- yeah, I'd say they rule with an iron fist. And btw, did you ever hear of supply and demand? Because- if the corporations lowered there wages too low- no one would work there. LOL. You'd simply look somewhere else. And guess what? They can't outsource all of the jobs. Then no one would have any money, and they would be fresh out of consumers. Do you not realize the "big evil corporation scenario" you describe would destroy the corporations themselves?

I recently read some articles that were 2-15 years old about who pays the taxes. From what I can tell by the reading, most of our nations' tax burden is on people who gross $35-150K and on corporations. The very richest income earners are protected with tax shelters. The lowest income earners pay little or nothing. Corporations use every trick in the tax code but still pay a heavy burden.
If you extrapolate the data, it seems that almost ANY KIND of flat tax solution would increase total revenue. If we stopped printing money, the value of our currency would improve in a couple years. That would make every person in America more wealthy. If we cut back on the most wasteful government agencies by 10 percent, and moved those workers into the private sector, GNP would increase and the value of the currency would increase.
Finally, Dr. Paul always talked about moving to new positions. Nothing would occur overnight. So no one, in this generation would loose Social Security, for instance. But, new babies would move to a new program that would be more efficient. Everything about Dr. Paul is about the Constitution and efficiency.

Please explain how these corporations that are controlling the government as we speak are going to become more benevolent if all government controls are removed. Tell me that the power industry is going to clean up their coal fired generating plants if all regulations are removed. Tell me how the gross polluters are going to volunteer to clean up their acts when all government regulations are removed. You speak of pure bullshit. That is not how the greedy corporations rule by a long shot. They exist for one and only one reason, Profit, period. The weening of America has been going on for some time now, Paul would just accelerate it. Like I've said, there are a lot of good things in Pauls agenda. Bringing the troops home from everywhere #1, revamping our foriegn policy, #1 Getting rid of the FED, #1. If he also wants to end lobbiests, then I'm all for that. It is the privatization of everything that scares the be-jesus out of me. I've yet to see a private for profit enterprise that cares about the people.

Paper money is the stupidest thing this country ever did, its not real. Paper money caused credit cards(the worst thing invented)and now the average debt on credit cards per family is 8,000 mostly because of unfair interest rates. Do you honestly believe we should be part of the UN? If we had a non-intervention foriegn policy we would never need allies(and our defensive military would be the greatest in the world). Each country should fight to defend thier own country no more world wars(and no more dead Americans for unconstitutinial causes with other countries.

First we do not have to raise taxes if we would bring our soldiers home. gov. spending was only 1.3 trillion in 2000(i think thats the number dont remember) and with that spending the IRS is not needed at all and taxes on goods could be greatly reduced without jacking any other taxes up. Entitlements? Are you telling me I should feel guilty for wanting my tax money to feed and keep a roof over my kids head instead some crack dealer with 10 kids making thousands on welfare. There are some legitamite folks on welfare but most are just lazy and selfish people STEALING our money.
Everyting you speak of worked a hundred years ago why not now?

Wasn't it just two days or so ago that Obama refused to wear an American flag lapel pin and refused to put his hand over his heart and sing as the national anthem was happening.. Thank you for saying this. I HATE the welfare system- and I know people who are in it. When my daughter's father went to jail when she was only 6 months- I was a stay at home mom, her father was completely supporting all of us. One day, he was just gone. I sold everything I owned and struggled as hell to start my own business so I could still stay at home with my daughter. My family BEGGED me to go on welfare. They told me that welfare was for people like me and that they wanted to know at least once the money went to someone who needed it. I never took a PENNY from the government, and came out FINE. Why? Because I understand hard work, i understand struggles, but most importantly I understand that there is no greater feeling than self accomplishment. I personally know people who have told me flat out blank "why am I going to struggle and find a job and everything when I can get if all for free?" This is truly how the MAJORITY of people on welfare are. And honestly, what can you say to that? If you have no self worth- why work when you don't have to? Usually the people who truly need the charity, will never seek it out.
