another "how long" thread (pics)

i know CHECK THE TRICS ...which i have been, but being that its a first grow its always good to have experienced growers opinions... so please feel free to give your thoughts.. i believe they are all about 5-7 weeks flower.... so here it goes

the is the 1st New York City Diesel plant...


this is the 2nd New York City Diesel plant... (had problems early on)

I'm no expert but the Blue Dream looks ready-to-go!

A tip I picked up on is to look at the hairs. When they suck back in to the bud, it's time to harvest. Also, not only amber Trichs, but look for distorted ones as well.

Aww man! Way too late! No JK. If you want a I can still go out in public heady type high you can pick it after you start your flush. I would do 8 to 10 day flush. You want a good amberish gold color in the trichs for that body layed back type high. I would say 50% amber, time to start flush. A non flushed bud will be hard to burn in a joint and possibly kinda sparky.

yeah i do.. i was thinking like 2 weeks for the blue dream... but i am no expert either

I wouldn't cut anything until after the 29th. The Harvest Moon always creates a fresh flourish of white hairs. I'd let them all go till at least Oct 2nd or 3rd. Maybe mid-Oct for all but Blue Dream, which is very close to mature.

i was hoping to be able to chop before oct 12th because on the 12th i have shoulder surgery...

You should be good by then. I'd just let them go at least a few days past the full moon to get that extra density.

Yeah try and wait until at least the end of the first week of October for all of them. It's not like they are going to over ripe and degrade between now and a couple weeks. They aren't done swelling, leave those go they need a good 10-14 days anyway. Good luck and nice grow

even the one from the pictures in post #15? they are already about 60%-70% maybe more brown pistils... .. so another week wont hurt?
