time for an update for anyone whom chooses to follow 
they are 2 days short of being 3 weeks old.
no nutrients yet, just whats in the ffof soil
under 150w hps, no need for more light yet
heres some pictures
the hole in the leaf showed up the other day? i havent seen any bugs in the box. any ideas?

some more pics. growth on tops are taking off.
in the 5th picture are those leaves ok? seems like they are curling due to being cramped but idk so figured id ask.
Plants are looking great! The leave curling like that is probably from the hps being to close at one point.

bigger plant was showing some yellow spots on its older leaves. Everything was good when i went to work and when i get home they had the yellow spots all over the two leaves. i started them on 1/4 strength big bloom and grow big. will water with it again next watering. i also lst'd the two tops out of the way a bit to help with getting light to the lower sections. let me know what you think.

you'll get better pictures if you take them with regular light its hard to see your plants through the lines the hps make . i'm a huge fan of the bag seed grow will be following +rep ....rob 146

Thanks for replying, here is the foxfarm feeding schdule. you are supposed to use .25 or 1/4 tsp a week. none of the 3 solubles run more then 4 weeks unless your grow last's longer. it was 5 dollars and will last me about a grow. figured it couldn't hurt.
Ya, the lights come on at 8am and go off at 2am and im never up between when their off. I more blame the quality on the phone camera, but my digital camera i think takes worse pictures as it doesn't focus good on close objects. its a old Kodak from like 2006. lines only happen when i am close to the light, its a small box so that is about 90% of the time
i took a quick peek at them this morning, their looking much better.

Nice job so far. is this your first grow? I've just started my first grow with bagseeds as well. here's a pic of my plants:

they are 23 day from germination and doing great. I only have 6 32 watt flourescents on them but I'll switch to a 1k mh when they begin to bush.
I noticed you topped your plants. How long do you believe it stunted your plants growth? I was reading on topping and thought it may be something to try. As you can see in my pic my plants are being lst'd. I'm going for a spiral method around the pot. If i can top the plant at the edge I'll be able to go around both sides of the pot(I think hah).

plants look great. i would say that it stunted the growth for maybe a day or two? the new growth started quick and took off after that.
just a update:
plants were neglected the last few days and it was when they really needed attention. their recovering from no water / love for the last 3-4 days. all the stuff on the bottom pretty much died and was crispy. did a extra good water and the plants are looking much better. mid - top growth is still happening and is a nice green. spottyness doesnt seem to be spreading anymore after they got fed last week. i will try and post pictures soon.

Switched to flowering due to them growing hella quick. (switched on sunday)
homemade carbon filter revision 2.0 added this morning.
Plants were getting too hot due to not enough airflow with the old ones.testing different materials to make the outside of the filter out of. tried a thick layer of carbon inside of 2 pieces of 1/2 inch thick piece of foam. took some carbon out and still didnt have enough air flow with my pc fans. (normally this 120mm fan blows around the same as a dryer vent. -SERVER FAN-)
found a pack of clorox multi-use rags. used this as a template when i went shopping but couldn't find the scotch tribe brand rag. i will know better on how its working when i get home.

Its funny how everyone tries to cover up the smell of their plants ,carbon filters an all. When i walk into my room it smells so good, love the smell.

Dont get me wrong, i love the smell but when the smell starts to linger out onto my porch and stuff then its time to cover them up some. Don't need my neighbors input if you know what i mean.
with the doses of fertilizer they really have taken off and are much different looking from my last picture update. they were droopy today again, not enough water. seems like they are needing water every day and a half to every day. maybe im not watering them enough but the box is a bit warmer now.
Dont get me wrong, i love the smell
but when the smell starts to linger out onto my porch and stuff then its time to cover them up some. week 5, been flowering for 4 - 5 days. no sex yet. begining of week 4 was bad, they had a real lack of water twice in a row and the one stretch was pretty long, ~2 days dry. I only have around 7 inches before they are touching the hps, should of switched them at week 3-4 and maybe start nutrients at week 3 with the ffof soil. Plants look great!. I'm dealing with height issue also. I will have to cut a hole in the top of my box to bring the light through. That's one thing that sucks about bag seeds, you don't know the genetics, that's all i have ever grown.
Hope they don't outgrow your box...
I have my plants about 8" away from the hps, whats yours at now? I want to try and keep it at 6" but i think that would be to close.
