Over due update of the Chaos girl, day 20 of flower. Set a second screen and did 2 rounds of large fan leaf removal since going into flower, included a pic of a fan leaf and I have large hands. Stretch seems to be mostly over and I have about 18" of bud area that's stacking nicely on the 3x3 screens.

...pardon Capt... ...for my curiosity...your opinion (or others too) on the led grow tube way... what brand... what model... ...some hotter kelvin to help on floration time? ....or the led tubes are for vegetative time only?...

...thans in advance...

Hey Cap'n! I've been reading over this thread extensively (as well as a few others) just to try to learn everything I can about the CXA3070s before making a big order. I picked up one of these but I don't know if its legit (http://www.ebay.com/itm/231606192190) It claims to be a 3000k AD bin, but I can't find any AD bins anywhere on any datasheets for the 3000k. I should be getting it in this week, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be looking for on the chip itself. Anyways thanks for all the great work and hope to get an answer from someone a bit more knowledgeable.

His part # says ab but he says it is ad in the description. I'd be leary but it's a good price imo. Pretend its the z4 bin and if it's better you win.

I contacted Cree and they said that although it's not typical, the AD bin is possible and gets produced sometimes, they also verified that the serial numbers in the photo are consistent with his claims. I'm still a bit leery but I'm going to roll the dice and hope for the best. Is there any way to tell on the chip itself what color temperature it is?

It is totally good. I ordered from him 2 months ago and got them in a week . I have had them going in my version of a reeferator for a few weeks now and i am happy as hell !!

I want to thank everyone who has put up so much valuable information. I wish i had not spent $250 on sunblaster T5's and a Chinese blurple light. Although i did get 106 grams from that light and it was only drawing 130 watts!
