With all the good ideas Star Trek had, I always thought their promotion of, "Logic clearly dictates that the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few," was utter bullshit. That's completely illogical considering that was the Borg's mo. Did that mean the Borg didn't go about it properly?
Oh great a Trekkie :wall:

The Borg were a giant cooperative.

It's a false dichotomy. The needs of "the many" and the needs of the few (or individuals) aren't necessarily divergent.

Also the needs of the many if they are achieved thru improper means, aren't magically made acceptable by virtue of the number of people who may have benefitted. For example "gang rape" or "government policy" but I repeat myself.

Dr. Ford's claims have not been strenghthened in the past week. This article summarizes the weaknesses in her claims and what she will be up against in questioning tomorrow: https://nypost.com/2018/09/25/eight-big-problems-for-christine-blasey-fords-story/

Should be interesting to see what happens, if it happens. I am starting to think Kavanaugh may go thru even if she does testify now.
Mitch McConell already assured the lemmings it is going to be voted on no matter what the Doctor says and has forbade the other witnesses to even testify
It's a SHIT show plain and simple
The donors have demanded Kavanaugh and Republicans have proven with their Tax cuts for the wealthy , they only care what donors think,,,not the American people

It's pretty clear they want someone seated before new congress is seated. Total shit show.

Nothing like a serious allegation with zero to back it up. Seems to be the play of the day. Ho hum.
It’s actually 5 victims now, some with sworn affidavits, some with witnesses, some with polygraphs, and so on

Witness testimony counts as evidence in a court of law and juries are directed to ignore anything a witness has said if they are caught lying

So how many times has kavanaugh perjured himself already?

The assertions are becoming ridiculous in nature, #5 just recanted and admitted making it up. #4 is anonymous. #3 I just can't believe. #2 couldn't even get printed in the Times after zero corroboration. #1 we'll hear from tomorrow and maybe she'll bring something new and sound believable.

I’d say you have no common sense but in your case you just have no conscience and you’re brainwashed.

You keep forgetting to mention how many times kavanaugh has perjured himself under oath already
