so after a small week of drying time for curing. i trimmed them and now they go into the jars... haven't weight yet but im guessing around 100grams. This is done using the phlizon 2000. Enjoy! Would like to hear opinions. I understand that hps could have gotten me more yield but for the 350 watt of actual led, i don't this is half bad.

While I am glad you got some smoke, I'm not sure .33grams/watt is where you really want to be as far as cost efficiency.

Im gona say you chopped a bit early from the look of those. Will make a big diff to your yield.

Plus 350w in a 4x4 is never going to be ideal.

Buds from Fridays pics look pretty good, just needed another week or two and better training.

I know absolutely nothing about building either that’s something I need to learn real soon because I really don’t want to have to turn to hps due to the heat I live in already

C. M. H.

All the density and yield of HID lighting, at a fraction of the heat and power costs...

Replaced my 600MH/HPS lights with 315CMH and have never been happier. Went on to replace my 1000w HPS lights with 630 double ended CMH...

Flower room dropped like 10degrees easy. And its so bright in there I had to invest in grow room glasses!

Thanks for your input man, will keep this in mind! I went on trichomes for cutting, about 2-5% clear / 95% cloudy / 2-5% amber (something like that)

phkizon is junk. only blurple i run is kindled bro. if youre gonna run blurps at least get a REAL BLURP BRO
So you would go spend $1000 or more eaxh light for a 4x4 when it is no better? The phlizon 3000w cobs cost me $398 each canadian and I dont think they are junk. 6 cobs in each 50w cree cxa3070 or 3590 depending on what you ask for yes you can contact them and get it. 3x 3000k and 3x 6000k cobs
630watt true watts each and compare them to optic then say they are junk.
They also sell cree 3590 cob singles too and a strip style. Look on their site and see.
I think blurple is good to add to white light by itself it isnt as effective.

An 8x board diy qb120/132 board can be accomplished in an afternoon with Amazon and a 20 minute trip to home depot. Total cost would be less than $475 easily. That's a pretty budget fixture that works. You can even add onto it another 4 boards for like $250 down the line.

Kind of up to you if that's worth it.

You can do strips for less, it's just a bit more involved.

Or a 630 de cmh

Or 2x 315 cmh.

All are economical choices, that I feel are just better lights.

Or I'd look at Timber or rapid.

Hlg has a few products on Amazon as well as home depot now.

I could not find anywhere wherwi could cover my 8x8 for the same.price with quantums. I couldnt find anuwhere 8 quantum panels for 475 bucks? With drivers?? The drivers for a fixture for a 4x4 is almost a third of that price by it self.
I would have gone qbs or cob builds but for the money I did what I could. Sorry it isnt up to yoie satisfaction....

Wasn't trying to offend or dissuade you, you were just incorrect about it costing $1000 minimum to light a 4x4 space.

And 4 packs of qb 120 or qb 132 are on Amazon(prime) for like $135ish? And I'd go with an inventronic driver (hlg 600h-36a is around $185 landed inventronics you can snag cheaper. You can usually wrangle 20% or so off arrow or digikey. )and some aluminum angles for the frame and some wire/nuts/bolts and wago connectors . A few YouTube videos and some rope hangers and you are at half the $1000 price essentually.

Eventually you will want to expand or purchase new equipment and I'd just like you to be informed before you go to make additional purchases.

I'm happy anytime someone can grow their own. Whether it's with CFLs or the sun doesn't really matter much. You'll get better results next grow even with the lights you have. Grower talent and experience mean much much more than equipment and nutrient brand.

Pretty hard to offend me I dont take much too personally. I will have to loom. I havent found those 4 packs before. From canada too soprice may be different. I already knew about the bobs and qbs and seen lots of builds but just xouldnt find the parts to light an 8x8 anywhere near as low as what I got.
Not my first grow got a fair few under my belt now. Last 4x6 though was my first led grow though. I usually grow qp plants.

I was wondering if anyone here has tried any cob/led lights under 200$ from amazon with some decent/good yields. I’ve looked into better ones that have been recommended but can’t afford them this year. And right now amazon is my only purchase option. Any facts/opinions would be great to hear. Right now the phlizon Cree cob 1000 has my attention after seeing a YouTuber use it with some above par results in my opinion but also the Aglex 1200 cob good to but really know nothing .. Any help? Also what would be the cost difference to run one of the lights I mentioned compared to a 600watt hps?

Go for the quantum board on amazon ! You will not regret it that’s for sure ! What is the size of the space you are growing in ?
