ALMOST 5 weeks

my first grow at just under 5 weeks veg. 250 watt hps, mg soil, mg ferts, Ph water. WW fem from seed. Whatcha think? Any advice? Input? Criticism? Thanks all! I just wanted to show off my lung candy!

I Love the way your tying her down, its my fav thing to do. Just got my friend hooked on it..he loves it rather then his tall lanky plants

they look good. Most people want to see the juicy buds of flowering. When you take pics in veg I have noticed most people do not respond especially when you do a decent job.

Awesome. Do you think its feasible to LST her all the way around the rim ( being she is in the middle of the planter)? If I'm patient enough, I have a feeling she will have some nice colas all the way around...which, imo, would be fabolous!

Quite understandable...I.can't wait to see the buds...but being a noob and all, I figured somebody would offer their .02, you know? The plant looks healthy and all, but its definatly soothing for a noob to be informed they are on the right track...thanks for the info!

Yea man I dig. Just didn't want you to feel bad if no one else commented. Just seems the way things roll around here sometimes in the newbie section. Keep up the good work and you will have a nice reward!

i think LST'ing takes from your juicy colas. you are essentially taking a branch, which would be a cola, and spreading it around evenly, a cola, is a mixture of little buds on a stem. by taking the stem you are essentially separating the cola. by LST'ing you take the cola and divide up the buds on the stem. the little buds that will make up the cola will grow up off the stem since the stem is now sideways or slanted down. with SOG you will get nice shaped colas. just filling you in. i have the same problem going with my Skunk. shes at 5ft, and i had to tie her up BONDAGE style!! its nasty! but i had to. all the buds that would make up a nice fat juicy cola are now going up off the branch. makes me think if i had put her into flower a few weeks earlier i could have had her stand up straight and tall. which wold have made for some nice juicy colas.

WW looks really compact. it looks like the new sets of leaves are stacked closely on top of each other.... it has excellent node spacing, cool grow dude

Thanks man, you should check her out now. I started another thread earlier with a nice photo of her. She's really stout, and has been tied four times for LST thus far. I keep forgetting her " birthday" but I started her from seed either the day before or the day after my kids started school back up in late august. Soin theory, she may possibly be about a month old today!
