After thinking about this, I figure that it's probably a bad idea to try to turn off any of the banks of lights even if it is possible, because each LED is focused into a beam with a lens. So I'd probably end up with spots in the canopy that are too bright and other spots that aren't bright enough. I'll check with DJ's journal to see if he did anything special... He got a really good harvest in his stealth cabinet with the area-51.

Ok Brother 6er I Just Got My Meter And Im Still Playing Around With It.My Next Run Im Going To Start Them Out At 700 Umols In Flowering And Adjust From Their.If You Look At Babs Her Umols Is 960ish And She's Loving Me Long Time 1 Dollar Make U Holla While Becky Was Very UnHappy With 800 Umols And She Did Respond To 590ish Umols So I Belive The Amount Of Umols Differs from Plant To Plant.
Great Idea Brother And I Will Make It Over To Your Thread And Check Out Your Grow Style And See If I Can Make Some Suggestions.
Also The Only Switch That On The Area-51 Is The Flower Switch.Veg Is Constantly On Once You Plug In The Led.
