You MUST have chopped them by now. How did they taste?
OHYEAH I chopped them about 5 days after i posted those pictures. She was great. Total dry weight came out to 93g. Not too bad, but hoping for more next time. only problem is my tent is tiny! only about 16"x16". i wish i had more space. But she smoked amazing couldn't ask for anything more!

I got some AK-48's growing outside now they are about 5' tall just starting to flower or really close to it, cant wait for the harvest now. Your plants looked awesome and that was a sick amount of production from them in a small grow tent. Great job!

hey bro may i ask you, how long did u cure your buds and what was the smell like after drying compared to now?

I chopped my AK48s on July 15, at day 72.
While flowering, the odor wasnt strong, but i could smell some real sweet, fruity, good bud smell on my hands after i touch them.

I dried them for 5 days in my closet, 71 F and 55% RH.
Stems started to crack and some snapped. At that point, the buds had that hay smell. Visually the buds are nice.
Now after 4 days in the curing jars, they smell like dead zombies. It hurts my nose when I take a good whiff. Still smells like hay, with some slight sour, citrus smell, but nothing like that good bud smell.

I cut and dried relatively fast, all cut down and trimmed in one night (Took me 7 hours by myself for the whole plant, epically brutal), hung and dried in 5 days. I cured for about 3 weeks, or atleast for as long as my friends could keep their hands off of it:eyesmoke::roll:. That hay smell should go away for you, within a week of curing my buds smelled like sweet nectar sent from the gods.

All in all, i would give this strain an 8 out of 10. Easy to grow and not too fussy. Smoke was a little light for my taste, but perfect in all other catagories.

Thanks for the comments!

Nice. I took mine down about 9 weeks into flowering (63 days). The trichs were about 50% amber.

Fantastic smell, fantastic taste, fantastic high. Fantastic grow.
