agh! feel like a noob!

im tired of growing strains that tell me 8-10 weeks flowering and its total bullshit. i have yet to grow a strain that was any less than 10 weeks at mostly cloudy trics. i know that whatever strain i find that will truly finish in 8 weeks or less (yea less, riiiggghhttttt). i dont really want links to seeds companies that claim this or that. i want people that have grown these. goal is an ounce for a foot tall clone at finish taking clones at 6-8"

You might wanna try a true afghani like afghani#1 (sensi seeds), or a hindu kush or an other pure indica. These strains almost always finish in 50-55 days or less. Also when the seed companies estimate a flowering time, they're usually judging with 600-1000w HID. But in any case, a pure indica like the ones i mentioned above will probably do. Not to mention theyre usually mold and disease resistant too, and theyre almost impossible to kill.

c99 finishes very quick ... 7 / 8 weeks, and your not looking for much on the yield side, you could easily get that from cindy..

really? hindu kush? oddly i have one single seed of that from fem bud. also have headband, bubblegum, super lemon haze and some unknown tiny dense bud seeds, i just call em popcorn seeds. from what ive read on hindu kush is that they grow leafy (from pics) and i thought they took longer to flower.

Funny how that works, just like the check is in the mail, this is what I would do, buy the best Northern Lights or cross, it will be done in 50 to 60 days Max. Some cross's take longer. I have 2 fast indica's and they are both from NL been growing them for 10 years. It is easy to clone, grow and mold and pest resistant and will give you couch lock like you won't believe if you let it go 60 days, 50 to 55 is great when you got shit to do you can move and think.

Afghani's and kushes are originally from the mountainous regions of Pakistan, India and Afghanistan. The more modern (newer) kush strains are mostly crosses of indicas and sativas. A pure kush or afghani is usually 100% indica, meaning plants generally stay short and bushy. They grow fast with an average flowering time of 50-60 days or shorter once you dial it in. They are usually mold, pest and disease resistant. They are very easy to grow and clone easily. Very beginner friendly, but don't let that disappoint you. The leafs are fat and buds are hard and the high is the classic munchie inducing, chinese eyes, couch-lock and video game before you gorge on junk food and pass out.

Kushes nowa days are crossed with sativa to mix the couch-lock with a more cerebral, creative, energetic sativa -type high. But if your goal is only 1-2ft plants that are easy to clone, these are a good choice.
If you want shorter flowering times, then youre gonna have to stay away from the hazes. Im sorry...lol
I was disappointed too, because some of my favorite strains are hazes like super silver and neville's haze... or you could do like me and experiment with different haze strains till i can find one that flowers in a reasonable time. Hazes can take 12-16 weeks to finish flowering!

what lighting are you using for what size space?

sorry been a minute since i could get on here. i picked up a purple strain seed from a friend, but he didnt know the exact strain. my lighting and space varies. i have available a spare 10x10 room with a closet and an extra walk-in closet in my room. i have 2 400w hps and one 4 bulb 216w t-5.
