i understand where your coming from homebrewer and i respect your opinion. i also do not want to argue. talk to you later

philip i wanted to ask you, have you used the 2 part before? if so do you get better results with conni compared?
Hey Tree. I used 2 part for about 2-3 years before trying out Connoisseur. I still use their 2 part Grow nutes. I switched because the Connoisseur had more phosphurus and less nitrogen then the 2 part Sensi series. I've seen that my plants hold stronger health late in to flower and actually fatten up a little more. I can't really say it's worth double the price but I get it at a significant discount so for me it works.

very good to know thanks! to be totally honest i dont really care that much about nute prices as long as i get a bigger yield using them. the extra yield makes up for the price anyway and much more. im definitely gonna have to give it a try

I feel the same way. Guys rag on me cause i pay so much for my nutes but I'm not worried about money. I'm doing just fine. So if I gotta pay double to get 10% better buds and yields then it's worth it for me. Some guys would say I'm an idiot for sinking as much miney as I have into my grow op. To each their own. I'm never gonna tell someone how to spend their money. If you are on a budger then don't get advanced. Also, don't by LUmatek, or Can Fans, or Hortilux bulbs. If I can get better or equal results for the less money then I'm all for it. That just hasn't happened yet.

+Rep for a great conversation and interesting ideas man. Thanks.

I've gotta say man I am with Homebrewer on this one. I'm super confused. I'm not sure of any strain specifics but I can't imagine a plant not being able to handle 400ppm of nutes as long as the NPK wasn't straight N or something crazy like that. I am a heavy feeder but even then my plants are getting 250-300ppm in week 1 of veg after they have completely rooted. I mean my clones get 150ppm Clonex. By week 1 of flower every strain I have ever done is between 700 and 1000ppm. I'm also confused as to how your plants could have swelled up that fast in a day or two after changing back to Advanced? It just seems impossible. Especially if you are feeding them the same 300ppm's. Look man, I am not trying to be a hater. Homebrewer and you both know that I use Advanced but something has to be off here.

I have one strain that can't take 150 ppm during veg without burning...some strains don't like nutes at all...I have one that I am letting veg til it needs nitrogen just to see if it ever will...and so far it is 3 months into veg and I have had to trim it down twice...as I can't deal with or flower a terribly large plant...so...it is 3 months in and still showing no signs of needing any nutes...she also likes to be dry like the desert...so now I know how to make this strain happy...don't feed or water it for long periods of time...I have never seen her look so happy...

A have The Cheese strain and it like o be dry as a bone and very low nutes during veg. I was making that comment though because that plant was 3 weeks into flower and showing nute burn at 400ppm. That seemed a little odd to me.

and most of the nutes I use are a ragtag band of mismatched freebies...I find myself using different things pretty often with good results so far...it is far from scientific...lol. But i find that no matter what it is as long as you don't give too much it can't do anything but help the plant...it is when you give too much or something else is off that you end up seeing slow growth and poor development...I just added a new sometimes fert that I like a lot...it is veg + Bloom by hydroponics research...it is supposed to work for any medium, at anytime in the grow...veg, flower, whatever...so far plants in veg and in flower seem to really like it...I think I will probably buy it just because it doesn't get any easier to use than this stuff...one part the whole way...and it is like a powder so it dissolves really well, and it smells clean...some nutes are effing gross...this stuff makes the solution smell very fresh...just a fresh kinda smell..anyway use whatever nutes work for you...in 3 years I haven't decided which one I like the best so I use them all...lol. I don't really like AN..but then again when I tried it I was only growing the plant that it turns out doesn't like any nutes, so I am sure that it works well for plants that need nourishment...lol. I mean find what works for you...nobody has to agree with you.

i see you've probably never grown blueberry before that shit can barely handle any nutes and loves to slip into the claw. thanks for the rep

Use what works for YOU...

I was a Sensi 2 part user too then went to DynaGro I had exact opposite, DynaGro blew AN 2 part out of the water. If you are going to trash any nute company you need to document and picture the data, as any moron can "claim" one is better over the other. Shit the companies do that all the time to the morons believing the claims and hype, no difference here.

Hey Lordjin, what strain is that that's done at day 45?

Use what works best for you (while hopefully not breaking the bank); DG day 48ish?

Wicked, bro. Gorgeous. Strain?

The bud in my previously posted pix is Tahoe OG Kush (cut source). But it's just that strain ripening freakishly fast. I'm running Larry OG right next to it, and it looks a lot more like day 45:

Edit:
I still have not tried Dyna... and I'm still open to it.

Yeah, those look solid and a 45 day strain is a freakishly rare flowering period. Though I do remember some of my BOG strains finishing before day 50 about 9 years back.

My picture is of a strain called dumpster.

Yeah, I'm a little disturbed by it myself.

Dumpster? I'm trying to think if I've ever heard of that... does sound vaguely familiar. Background?

i feel like you work for dyna grow because your on every single post that has dyna grow in it man lol does it pay good? free nutes?? :p

It's a clone-only strain that I picked up some years ago when working in Ohio. I'm not a fan of the heavy indica strains personally but patients like it for pain relief and it happens to be a great hash strain. I do like hash .

Actually I'm just a no-nonsense grower who learned about DG from Uncle Ben. I put it to the test against the GH three-part that I had been using for years and DG turned out to be superior in every aspect except maybe resin production. It's a free world, spend your money how you'd like. DG, Jacks Classic and even plant foods sold at walmart will grow world class herb for pennies when used by a competent individual.

I understand where your coming from. Everyt single aspect that has to do with growing medicine is just outrageously priced. Its absurd. Especially when their our people out there that are in pain every single minute of their life from what ever disease they may have and their option is to either pay ridiculous high prices for their medicine or take the risk of making their own and hopefully their lucky enough to live in a medical state.

i just got done with that crop where i started using dyna gro 30 days into flower. i used it from day 30 to day 70 and all i gotta say is these are the most airy buds ive ever had! i am so done with this stuff its not even funny. i thought i was gonna get like 30% more final weight than i actually got because i had some huge colas. i had 8 plants that were 3 1/2 ft tall each and out of all the plants i only got 30 grams off the biggest one and if you looked at the cola combined with all the branches you would swear i would have an oz and a half to 2 oz. i got a half a pound in a vacuum seal bag and it looks like a pound cause its so damn airy its crazy. you guys can have the dg il stick with the 2 part

there was a side by side study link in homebrewers thread where a bunch of different nute companies were tested and i think dyna grow came in last place. i dont know the link right now but im starting to think that the study was legit based on the results i got
