I need some help. I baught one of these because I live in a small, Monitored apartment, is it at all possible to just grow with the aerogarden the way it is? This is basically my size restraint and my maximum size available, I currently have 2 small bushy plants growing, I started the seeds on feb 12, 9 weeks ago, In all the pods, these are the ones which survived. You see i went into the hospital for a while so the upkeep was very slopy, but they are ok! and strong but very very small in comparison to what ive seen in other postings, they are now on 12-12 but; one is 8 inches tall and 13 inces wide, and another is about 4 inches tall and 8 inces wide. They have 14 branches all from the main stem and are starting to get more leafs growing at their stems bases. Will they be ok? worth keeping? or are they garbage, fuck em and start over? PLEASE HELP! I know its a small operation, but its only for my head and must be kept concealed. I will try to get some photos for everyone.

here the pictures, this entire set will be placed into a closet in 2 days, these pictures are as of 9 weeks, 6 24- 0 and 3 weeks 12-12. After these pictures were taken, i removed the lower two fan leaves on the taller plant they had either nutrient issues or spider mites but did not spread to the rest of the plant. I added nutrients after this, these spots have been there since the beginning and never seemed to bother any other part of the plants. does anyone have any input on NUTRIENTS or PH im not well educated in this field but I catch on quick so any help will be awesome thanks!

ok so heres what we have as of today, I did some research and found a few thing I was doing rather wrong, I found out that more lights means more growth, but I cant have too much or too large of plants, or more than 2 for that matter due to smell, these are the most recent pics, any suggestions on what to do next, i need to get nutrients, but I dont know what to get, any pointers in this field, also, I would like to get some lighting but have monitored electric, what are some good, energy efficient lights that will work? Im planning on my next grow, using the bottom section, but not the hood. Also Are these pictures good enough to tell the sex?
thanks for all the help guys!!! really appreciated!

I have an Areo garden as well, and it works great! I will post pic's next time. I bought the extension arm that goes up too 24 inches and the 3 bulb setup. Super looking buds, just started to use co2.(home made co2)
I am even useing the nutrents that came with it, 1 tablet per gallon. I also put a bubbler in the tank. 3 more weeks till harvest, this is a bud in my profile pic... How do I add pic's to this?

about 3 weeks ago I switched to 12-12, they are in total darkness for about 9.5 of these hours, the sun seeps thru the one shade a bit on the other side of the room, but for now they seem to be doing rather well, Next im going to move them to complete darkness for 12 12, but im experimenting with this now because they seem to be doing better and better each day, there was a time where I thought I almost was loosing them, thank Ja my babies pulled thru lol, Ill have some more pics next time, not much has changed since the previous postings, anymore ideas, LOVING the input!

Bracdive, good idea with the box, how does it work? no heat issues or fire fears?, thats the upgrade hood right? would you advise to get one of those or use my own lights? which is the 2 cfls with the original ag and 1 100w cfl

Ok so I just moved them during their sleep stage to the closet that I was speaking of previously, I worry about air circulation, If i leave them in there with no fan they will die, but if I add a fan it will be a shock to them and could kill them as-well, as of now there is a room circulator in there on low, which is still high enough of a speed to make they dance every-time it moves, I will post images when I can get pics in with the lights on.

Hi Young
I started my garden on 1.22.08 from clones.
Aero the box i built is lined with that plastic from the hydro store, I could have just painted the walls flat white, but a friend had some left over plastic. Heat would be a factor when lights are on but I leave the top off and front door open just a bit, but I do not put the top on during the time lights are on ( only at night ) when i want to give them a lot of co2. I don't have a fan on them, but thinking about putting alittle 12 volt computer fan in it next time. Haven't used a fan the whole time. The hood is nice but could do the same with other, your setup i am sure, the light upgarde was about what $120 or so can't remember. Sounds like you have plenty of air flow, to much air constantly would stress them i think, plants in the wild do not have wind all the time. I started my bud cycle when they were 4.5 in. Check out the pic of the wooden top it has all my dates on it, start to now. I will post again later. Party on guys. Keep on growing
