shit idk, the OGK had like 3 spots of where it looks like the beginning of balls, but they havnt really grown or look different, so im totally sure, its barley been a 2 weeks tomorrow, so i still got time to wait, even if they all were males, as long as im growing im cool, cause i kno for a fact, im never stopping, so this is just one of the thousands of grows to go!

I kno, the OGK dosnt really look like its gon be male, but those lil things are there, but there only three of em, 2 on the secdon highest node, then one on one side of another node, so thats why i think it cant be male, cause it would make sence for the pre balls to show up in only 3 spots, when the other had em growing up everywhere

well SICC, i have my new one going now for about 8 days but i may have over feed them with the starter tabs. brown spots and a dying leaf. i'll see what happens in the next couple of days and may have to start over. i was going to clip them just above the second node, but i'll wait...

Yea looks a lil burnt but not bad at all, i would just flush the rez, and let her sit with pH'd water for a couple days, then start off at 1/4 of a nute tab, and work your way up

So, I've got an AG pro200 and I can get a few clones from a friend. They're already well rooted in a rapidrooter type of sponge. Its actually a bit bigger than the AG holes and I'm wondering what the right thing to do here is. Do I just get the hanging roots in there and squeeze that sponge down are far as it'll go? Would I cover it with anything? Or should I try to squeeze the clone and sponge into one of the AG clip-together grow cups and slide it in that way, then cover it? There's just alot more sponge on the clones than I thought there would be. And I'm not sure what I should do here. Any advice appreciated.

Right now, i'd like to try this, but I may just turn to the seeds I have if it doesnt work out. I'm trying get some sort of self-sustaining cycle going here. :)

Clones would be a for sure harvest if you don't kill them.

I would try to trim the sponge (if there arent any roots on the corners) so its small enough to fit.

Hey All,
Having some trouble finding daylight cfl bulbs. I'm going to just order online but how important is it to get 65k bulbs. The ones I found are 3000k. I have em on my seedlings now but not sure if i should spend the money to upgrade. I looked at the cfl growing page but i'd like some input from the Aerogarden community. Thanks.

Wow, just stumbled upon this site and realized I was reading for a couple of hours!! Lots of great info.

Newb question. I have an AG deluxe, and have been running it stock for the past 4 weeks. Have three healthy looking plants and just wondering if I really need to purchase additional lights like I've read most have done to start the flowering period when ready.

Looks like most have purchased some add ons for it (airstone, figure 8 cord, new lights) but if the plants are growing fine now, do I really need to change anything for flowering?

Well, if you want bud to smoke, yea you're going to need to get a timer.

Without 12/12 your plant will never go into flowering.

Also, if you don't get additional lights, don't expect more than a quarter ounce of yield.

ive got a handful of white russians in an aero setup. my problem is they grow great for a week or two then just stop growing. they eventually come out of it but after weeks. they are in 2 gallon pots with clay pebbles and rockwool. is this a salt build up? also, what is the best way to flush?

Ok i just found this site after needing some help. I purchased my new AG classic at Sams on sale for 80 bucks. I have 2 great looking plants and 1 little one ... all female... woot woot.... what is the best set up for floweing ... heading to Wal Mart tonight to get some light bulbs... I read about the cfl bulbs and that is what i plan to use. Is the 100 watt best?

I gotta question about grow sponges.... Im FINALLY starting my 2nd grow (after many failed germinations)... I ended using some sponges I found at walmart.. I made sure they were very absorbent so I think they are workin.... any body have any specific suggestions about what kind of sponge I should use....??

A puffy sponge thats got lots of tiny holes, rather than one of those ones with huge holes, whatever comes the closest to an AG sponge in texture.
