Aerocloner clones into hydroton....

How often should bare-root clones straight out of an aerocloner be flooded if they are placed in hydroton? I have a CAP Ebb/Gro system, and the apical leaves are droopy. They dont perk up after a flood cycle, so I am guessing they are getting too much water. They were getting 3x a day...I switched to 5x a day with no change, so I cut it back to 2x per day to see what happens.

What is everyone else doing in this situation?

I move my clones to hydron with half nutes no prob, I water 3 times a day for two min an move to 5 times a day for 10 min in full flower, works for me!

You didn't say how long ago you moved them. I run straight out of the cloner into hydron and 3/4 nutes and have no problems. The plants take a few days to get acclimated. I run them every 2 hours for 5min right from the start.

Good deal. I am in Ebb/Gro buckets (started veg on 9/15), so flood cycles are increments of 15 minutes. They are getting flooded 30 minutes after the lights come on (6pm), once at midnight, and once at 6am before the lights go off at noon. I have them idling at 25% nute strength (Cutting Edge veg mix @ 250 ppm) until I see roots coming out of the inside bucket, then they will get increasingly higher [] until I hit the magic 950 ppm spot.

If you are using Hydroton you can run every 2 hours for 5 min more air and more nutrients can get into your plant. Set it to come on 5 min after lights on and 15 mins before lights out.
