Advice on Crossbreeding

I have a three strains: Hawaiian Indica, Skunk, and Super Skunk (about 8 seeds of each). I would like to sacrifice a grow to producing the best seeds so I'm covered for years in the seed department.

Am I better off traditionally breeding only one strain or should I crossbreed strains? I am patient enough to also crossbreed different combinations over time, but I usually like to keep things as simple as possible.

Either way, can anyone please give me a recommendation given the strains I have?

Considerations: durability/ease of grow and potency.

Thanks.

Geez, you're not asking much, are you? :blsmoke:

Breeding is much more involved than you imagine, so instead of typing a book, you should read Marijuana Botany by Rob Clarke.

Consider not sacrificing your grow, and selectively pollinate 1 branch, which will give you hundreds of seeds, while the rest of the plant is still sensimillia if you're careful.

Even so, what you will have are completely variable F1 crosses.

Welcome to the forum billy. glad i didn't have to answer that one. Videoman posted a super way to collect pollen for your experiment. You may want to check that out. If you do decide to experiment keep us all posted. I know it will be a lot of work, so thanx, VV
