ok cool ima read on it now. Thank you!

Edit after reading supplied link : While it doesnt fully answer my direct question, what I have learned has atleast given me an idea on what to do to make sure, Ill sure switch the light that is on the top cola (to the right outside the t-5) every couple days from the veg to flower bulbs... that should do the trick in getting it all that it needs.

thank you!

does the veg lights only support growth?

No, the 6500k rays help make trichs too. You got to have the Dual Spectrum, at all times.
I have all my lights on this flowering part.. the veg bulbs and the flowering bulbs.. if I only have a veg cfl on a main cola, will that just make it get bigger and bigger without flowering?

You got to have the Dual Spectrum, at all times.

Not unless the wine changes something. If you smoke mold once you won't smoke it twice. Back in college is the last time I experienced it. We didn't know sh** about taking care of the purchase. It was late, I was already "gone" for the evening, grab a little of my stash, packed a bowl and precceded to hack a lung for the next half hour. Small amount may not do it (it will just taste bad, bad) but at the time I thought it made it extra special so I packed heavy. I was wrong!
Just wanted to let you know you where right, it has only been a few more days and the harshness is just about gone. It is starting to get its own distinct flavors.

I have to say the high still isn't good. It doesn't get me faded like I would have hoped for. Does that leave me with the poor strain?

These buds are covered in trichs, if you fondle the drying buds enough your figures are sticky as heck, but there just kinda loose, not extremely dense.

It needs some time to cure. It will get a lot better as time progresses. Mine start out as really good and get to great after about 2 weeks in the jar. Bagseed is a little less predictable but I did 3 bagseed grows before I got this strain and they all acted the same. Sort of green and underpowered at first but cured to a nice pleasant yet high powered buzz as they aged. Bagseed grows were with cfl only and my buds were not dense either. Sticky is a good indicator of future strength!

So I'm thinking that the one problem I may be having is PH fluctuation, and not added the PH adjustment correctly. Currently I have some plants that have small "rust" spots on the leafs, some of the lower fan leaves have turned yellow, and brown, which I have pulled off. They seem to be the first two nodes on one plant, other plants have just small rust spots. I think this is due to PH fluctuation.

If my PH dips into the 5.2-5.6 for a few hours, in a 24 hours period, is that bad, or how bad is this?

Typically I'm trying to keep it at 5.8

I'm using the full Fox Farm line.

In each post, there is a Post #, and a little blue scale, looking like this:

When someone helps you, advises you or says they like what you posted, you should click those scales in that post, and leave your name and a comment.
Then the receiver of the + REP should return the favor and give you REP back.
It is good manners.

Just wanted to update with pics two weeks into flowering, thy are looking healthy for the most part, only typical leaves falling off here and thre. My sativa has been growing and growing, im trying to just move the lights around and angle the plant instead of cutting to much off. As for the indica (black domina) its actually getting much taller and bushier as well. Since the size of it I had to take a lot of different angle pics to give the best representation of how big it is... enjoy!!! let me know what you think.

Damn They look GREAT. Keep it up. Im ready to flower or clone my new ones.!!!!

Cloning?

Usual problems are an air bubble, too hot an area, you're not misting, or the air is stagnant.
Here ya go:

The most important thing is how you take that cutting, and how big is it, and where you get it, and have SOME Light on it, and in 4 to 6 days in
the Mistic Cloner, or whatever system you use, they root!

I always tell people who start from seed to be sure to take two clones from the bottom of each plant just before putting the plants into flower. These clones should be labeled with the same number as the mother plant from which it was taken, as well as the date it was cut. Keep those clones alive! Take the cuttings from the plants taht gave the biggest buds.

Many growers cut the branch underwater so that no air bubbles will form in the stem of the new cutting. (YOU CUT IT OFF THE PLANT, THEN STICK IT UNDER WATER AND CUT IT AGAIN) If air enters the stem it will prevent the stem from carrying water and the cutting will die. Dipping the cut end of the stem immediately into a rooting gel also solves the air bubble problem. If using a powder the cuttings must be wet so that the powder will adhere. BUT I DO NOT USE JELLS OR POWDERS. NO NEED TO, WITH THE MYSTIC CLONER.

you should select a soft, small branch from the bottom of the plant, one that wouldn't amount to much anyway. If you are planning to keep the plant in the VEG cycle, to continue taking cuttings then you should take cuttings from any shoots that have two or three nodes. I take cuttings that are between two and four inches long, but some people prefer to take cuttings as long as eight inches.

The stem will root quickly if it is still soft and green, not woody. Make an even, diagonal slice through the branch with your clean razor, below the would-be cutting. Strip the bottom leaves off of the cutting, dip it in rooting gel and plant it.
If you make your cut right above a node on the branch then two new branches will sprout out as if it had been pinched. If you continue in this fashion then your mother will produce an exponential number of cuttings every two weeks. You will soon be proudly giving clones away to your growing friends.

The clones must be warm but not scorched or too hot. Direct light will burn them because without roots the stem cannot supply the leaves with enough water to match the leaves' rate of transpiration. Use some light,b ut far away light.
Transpiration is a part of how the plant grows. Water and nutrients travel up the stem from the roots to the leaves, where they are used in photosynthesis. Tiny hairs called stomata sweat out the moisture to allow the stream of nutrients to continue flowing. Wind aids in transpiration by blowing the moisture off the stomata, which is why a very slow fan helps. AND MIST them twice a day with plain water or a WEAK foliage nutrient enriched mist.
Do NOT put a timer on it, run it 24/7.

And there you go!

Fro visitors here, the Mystic Cloner is a small tank with 18 holes, to root 18 clones FAST. Inside the tank is a MISTER, like a FOGGER or FOGGING devise that creates a steady mist or fog in the tank on the ends of the stems. makes roots in 4 to 6 days!

The more light you have the denser your buds.

When you come home and you find that you need to raise the PH in your bubbleponics system, how do you do it?(This is a question to everyone, not to my self)

Depending on your water(what type you use)depending on how much ph down i would use..I always squirted a couple mills. into the tank to bring it down.Do the samething with the ph up..Most people will dissagree and say filll a cu with water and put the down in the cup before you put it in the res..itll work both ways.

I'm thinking one of mistakes that I could have possibly made was adding the PH up incorrectly. Using the Fox Farm Line, I found my PH drop very rapidly, and seemed to always need adjustment up. I'm starting to assume that when you squirt pH adjustment into a tank, that the pure base or acid would probably get in contact with the delicate root structures before it dilutes it self.

Some of my plants show burnt leaves, and I don't think it is from to much nitrogen, as I'm running EC fairly low.

The second mistake I think I had going was to much light penetration through the plastic reservoir tank. I believe i was getting growth in the tank, due to light penetration into the reflective. This could have also lead to the needed PH adjustment.

First, do not try to keep it at 5.8 or at any exact point, just try to keep it between 5.5 and 6.5, and they will do fine. Adjust it once daily.

Come home, test it, and find (for example) that it is 6.9, too high. Follow the instructions on your pH Down, remove onequart to one half gallon of water and add it back with pH adjsuted water. If you removed a half gallon, make a new half gallon read 5.2 to 5.5, and add it to the tank, and then the tank will be close to 6.2 to 6.5, and that is fine. You can wait 4 to 8 hours and do it again, but do not adjust it a lot at one time.
Never add the UP or Down directly to the tank. You could really mess up doing that, that way.
