EXACTLY, He got super pissed at me when I said AN was for noobs who don't know any better. That means he had a realization that he was a noob taking it in the ass, but instead of getting mad at the rapist, he takes it out on the therapists. lol

You people buying ANs sub-par nutes need to listen to UB.

Jacks or Dyna-gro are where it's at.

Jack's has to repackage the Classic Bloom Builder so it has some naked woman on it with some pot leaves and charge $80 a bucket. Maybe then new growers will buy it?

But Jacks has to leave the rest of us what they're offering now at the same price.

Hell, il bite, as a hypothetical scenario of course, for the Dynagrow guys, whats the going rate for a pound of Dynagrow bud and how much does the DG cost for that pound? Same question for the AN users. Im curious about somethin. Purely hypothetical of course

The question isnt about how much the pound costs..it is about how much the product produces and the quality of the product..and yea..i get allot better results out of AN then dynagrow.I get better production and better taste better resin production.
What was your question about the cost again?
Oh and i dont hate on dynagrow..they have a good solid product.

How much do your nutrients per pound of bud cost with AN and how much would that pound sell for? Same question for Dynagro users. I dont care about plant count, veg time, training or anything else just how much do you spend on nutes and what the value of that pound is. Everyones talkin about how much they produce so I figured this would be an easy question for both sides.

Some how i dont think im being raped for paying 6 bucks a litre for something that works well for me.Some of you cheap skates might say i am and i can get the same results for less money..maybe so but i dont think im getting taken to the cleaners.As far as great big huge afgani colas..im not impressed.They are way to week to do anything to me..Maybe that is why you and UB are so uptight is you built up a tolerance to them weak ass indica nugs and need some good dope for your head to chill you out man.I should send you cats some good dope so you can chillax.

Come on guys, you have all tested several line ups, made your choice based purely on production and cost and nobody can say how much it costs them in nutes to produce 1 pound and what that pound is worth?

You're to funny. I bet you couldn't get past 2 hits of my o.g, or 1 of my vortex. That shit will have your vision blurry and seeing things out of your side view that isn't there.

For me personally I use CANNA

My line up consists of the following.

CANNA AQUA VEGA A/B £12 for 2x1litre enough for 4 good sized plants.
CANNAZYM £15 1litre bottle enough for 1 grow.
Rhizotonic £22 1 litre bottle. Enough for 2 grows.
PK1314 £17 1 litre bottle enough for about 10 grows.
Silica £16 1 litre bottle enough for about 5 grows.
Mono Ca £12 1 litre bottle occasionally used in small amounts.
Mono Mg £12 same as Ca usage.

So that's 12+15+11+2+3+1+1= £45

I use a 400w hps. Last harvest was 427g. Harvest before was 439g.

430 as an average gram amount equates to 15.3oz.

If I were selling mine (which I don't) I would expect £160 per ounce.

15.3x£160=£2448.

Is that broken down enough?

JD, you just get a pass no matter what you use, I don't think they have jack's or dyna in the UK.

No but they do sell "advanced".


I remember when I first started growing and was visiting my grow shop quite frequently, staying for coffee and chats etc and I noticed a massive shelf load of advanced.
Slowly over a few years the growers have stopped buying it favouring CANNA and DUTCH PRO and now its the only 2 nutrient brands he stocks in great numbers.

Thanks JD, I wasnt expecting Canna to come to the table but thats good, now we just need a Dynagro number and an AN number to make this work. Figured id have more to work with by now.

Just thought seeing as your asking I would do the math.

Its funny because I've never really added it up before. Lol.

I do change my bulbs every 9 months. Keeping the 9month old as a spare should a bulb pop.

Just thought I would add.

If I needed an ounce right now I would phone a "dealer" and expect to pay £200-£240 for an ounce.

The little guys round here sell 1.6g baggies for £20. That's £350 an ounce at street level.


15.3x240= £3672 at dealer level
15.3x350= £5355 at street level

You did a fine job. Kinda funny that if anyone says AN sucks and has a 300% mark up the AN guys come running, you say AN is the best, the Dynagro guys come running, you ask em both how much it costs them in nutes to produce a pound and the crickets come running. Kinda funny

Dyna gro foliage pro About $40 a gallon, I use maybe 1/4 of it per run. I get 4-5 zips per plant.CHIRP CHIRP
