If your shit tastes THAT bad where you need to try and add flavor. You're doing it wrong.

Grow better weed, and cure it the correct way. That's how you get a better taste.

here is a page about it
Once you have established success in your medical marijuana garden, the desire to experiment with flavors and aromas becomes more and more appealing. As growers, we always want to bring out the unique tastes and smells our particular genetics hold. There are many different ways to unlock the hidden treasures contained within our plants; one of which is the use of a carbohydrate formula. By feeding additional sugars to the plant’s rhizosphere, we can stimulate new flavors and growth patterns. Particular sugars will stimulate microbial activity within the soil or hydroponic system. These biological stimulations can increase production along with boosting a plant’s sugar production and content.
Banana Manna by Tropical Organics is a high quality carbohydrate extract designed specifically to boost essential oil production and stimulate overall production levels in flowering plants. Banana extract has an extremely high hormone content and contains a multitude of vitamins, minerals and enzymes. Banana Manna is made with a premium blend of banana extract and other exotic tropical plant extracts. Don’t let the name fool you; this product will not make your medicine taste or smell like monkey food. Typical results are a heightened level of smell and flavors found naturally in your particular plant. This product is designed to be used throughout your plant’s entire life but is most effective in the fruiting or flowering stage. Banana Manna is not a fertilizer, will not effect pH or PPM levels in hydroponic solutions and can be used with any fertilizer program.

"Sweet" uses plant extracts and carbs to add certain flavors-- molasses and treacle add a hint of their own taste- making every strain have a similar aftertaste...
Sucanate or Sweet "Raw" has no flavor...

IF someone gets weed cut too early or not dried right etc.. that has a grassy or hay smell... they can 'sweeten" it after it's cured by rubbing a drop of pure extracts on the inside of the lid and jarring it for a few days... then change out the lid. All it does is improve the smell and add a slight flavor... NEVER use anything that is not a pure plant extract... the best to use are lemon, orange, lime (oils from the fruit) Vanilla, and mint.

However- a good flush with carbs and making sure you do not harvest early is what makes each strain have a unique taste... always the best bet

Holy crap, this ia a great post. I've been using Bud Candy for sweetness, but sometimes I want to switch up the flavors and this is a great set of ideas. Thanks for sharing!

Might be stupid but for example your growing a blueberry strain and you add a certain amount of blueberry extract to your res. would that make it carry there blueberry flavor more? Just asking might be a dumb question but oh we'llwe'll

That's why I was wondering of you added it to the res while they are growing would they absorb the blueberry extract and gain more of a blueberry taste

That's not how a good tasting strain is procured.

It's all in the breeding.
