I was wondering would it be possible to safely use an acrylic tube for a cooltube without it melting I read on a website that acrylic can be used continuously at 70*c which is 158*F. would this be safe?

do a search for BAKE A ROUND TUBE the dimentions are approx. 14" long by 3.75" in dia. will work nice for a 400w hps bulb.i seen them a while back but i wasnt sure if those were the right ones they looked kind of skinny so are those the ones that everybody else uses on the diy cooltubes i wasnt sure but if they are im gonna pick up a couple thanks guys peace out stay green ......widow
