it was a couple of kids.

apparently, they hd no idea what they were taking and no place to put it. they took veg plants and hid them somewhere about town.

well, a city worker found them the next day and turned them over to the police. and the police found a to do list scribbled on the back of an envelope in the bin they used for transport, leading them to my house.

it took all my politeness and legal knowledge to keep them off my property.

and now i sleep out there, resting my eyes only after the sun comes up.

fucking punks. i can't wait until they return, i'm ready this time.

You going to go all Zimmerman on them or the liberal way with kind words?
Oh Canna! It is very difficult to shoot fucking dumb ass punks pissing themselves. If it were an easier treck north I would come help just for the show. I hid veg plants around my hood before but only in the hope they found good homes moments before pigs showed intent on no good. Did you get your Girlz back?

no.

the officer who talked to me told me she would talk to the police chief about getting my plants back. that was about 5 days ago. unless they watered those plants, which i doubt, they are as dead as fried chicken.

the only problem with politely asking for my plants back was that i was sans card at the moment. i had the Rx written out with certified mail, return receipt attached and presented it to the officer. she accepted it, but without the card itself i have no real legal protection. so i balked at asking for my plants back.

lol.

this is why i don't own a firearm. deep inside me, i am enraged. but taking a life over some plants is fucked. in talking to my neighbor about this, she told me about a home invasion and her subsequent dispatching of said home invader. she was haunted for years by her rightful action.

i mean, don't get me wrong. if i happen to catch one of these kids, i will have no problem hog-tying them, dragging them out to the front lawn, and sitting on their face, and farting like my life depended on it the whole time until police arrive.

and the sad thing is, i know they will be back. and likely, it will be more unfortunate for them then it is for me.

just like before, i'll ask you again: go quote it. don't point to a post, quote it. put the words right in front of me.

YOU CAN'T.
I already directed you to the post two separate times, you made regarding "the inferring" of socialism in nature. You're conveniently ignoring me now.

I'm not going to reference you 30 times if you refuse to acknowledge what you typed. If you won't acknowledge it, at least admit you're blind...

you pointed me to a series of posts and you made something up in your head about those posts. i can't see inside your 14 year old head though.

put my own words in front of me, please. or just shut the fuck up. or blather on about your teenage angst. i don't care either way.

Again, I already put the posts in front of you, by telling you the post number. What else would you like me to do? If you're too lazy to click on the page that refers to the post numbers, well that's your fault.

So when are you going to admit you're blind?

romney is not even in the top 1%, he is in the top 0.006% of earners. yet if we put him in you analogy, he would be paying at a lesser rate than the 5th poorest person there. i mean, the guys pays 13% in taxes on his 20 million. when i'm working those desk jobs, I pay closer 25% in taxes on my $30k.

so your analogy in not analogous, and to call it an analogy is an insult to analogies.
I'll tell you what Bucky, you claiming to pay 25% federal taxes on only 30k annual income tells me you have no clue of what you're talking about, it's an utterly ridiculous claim. Not only are you full of shit on this issue, after that comment, I doubt seriously you've ever paid federal income taxes in your life. I see you as nothing but a big mouth progressive hack.
i'm pretty broke and tempted to, but not that broke yet.
Speaking of fairy tales and deceit, when are you going to cough up that proof that you paid 25% federal income taxes on that $30k ?
no one making $35k pays 25% in taxes?

au contraire.

so fucking dumb, you guys. so fucking dumb.
fuck it. not going to wait for beenthere and his yellow sugar leaf.

I thought it was in your garage with the rest of your paper work, and didn't you had a picture of it. LOL

That pay stub is likely from a commission check, but your withholding's are not your effective federal income tax rate amigo.
At first I thought you were being disingenuous, by now I realize, you just don't know what you actually pay in federal taxes!
Trust me dude, if your annual income is 28k, your taxable income is around 17-19K depending on your deductions.
BTW, you didn't come close to reaching the 25% marginal rate my friend, your top marginal was 15%, look at your own chart.
So only your income above $8,350 will be taxed at 15%, the remaining income was taxed at a rate of 10%.

Bottom line, your effective tax rate (the amount you actually pay after your refund) is around 6%, take that to the bank Bucky.
i can produce more photos, my effective tax rate before returns is above 25%.

the stub i produced was my last one before getting laid off, no commission, and a heaping shitload of overtime. they always squeeze you dry before they toss you to the curb, good old capitalism.

and sorry, i do not have photocopies or pencil copies (fill them out in pencil, double check, then fill the real one out in pen) of my returns. i do for this year though.

care to guess how much my state tax burden was on earnings of less than $5k?
Just curious Bucky, did you ever figure out the difference between a pay stub and a tax return or marginal and effective tax rates?
I know you haven't had a real job and contributed to federal income taxes but you have had over a year to do a little research.

Actually no. UB is correct. The government takes 25% in taxes from singles who make ~$35k+ a year. Only after said single person reports enough deductions do they begin to lower their effective tax rate.

So he never pays 25% in taxes does he?

BTW, that's a witholding number. Not a tax rate. You can change your witholding at any time.

Edit: I could make 200000 a year and have the IRS withhold 0 dollars. Does that mean my tax rate is 0%? No. It means the government isn't getting an interest free loan from me. Buck is wrong. Very wrong.

Withholding is YOUR estimate of tax YOU feel will need to be taken out, sans deductions.

If YOU have no deductions and YOU choose not to take the standard deductions, YOU will be taxed 25%.

Therefore, if you claim zero, you will be taxed 25% per pay period.

Why is this difficult for you to understand?

Moving the goal post.

Buck claimed he paid 25% in taxes. His proof was a pay stub showing withholdings. Withholdings do not show your tax rate.

He could have showed a pay stub that withheld 50% of his pay. Still not his tax rate.

I get you're a fan of bucks, but he was dead wrong.

not moving a goal post. simply stating a fact, irrespective of UB's situation. it is completely plausible that an individual making $35k can pay 25% in taxes. and not because they chose to overpay, but rather they chose not to take any deductions.
