A question for my grower friends.

If it is still on the plant/stalk/whatever, its considered a plant, once it comes off the stalk/stem/plant and dried-cured its considered usable.

We dry ours on the stalk, the whole plant and work from there.

But we have a small group of growers and come harvest for anyone in the group we all come over and help out to get it done quick and out the door, its a really smooth system.
we can all have our opinions and i happen to agree with yours but if your allowed to have 12 plants and 2.5 usable marijuana ...and you have 12 plants hanging upside down, damn near dry....you bet your sweet ass MOST authorities are weighing all those plants as usable marijuana. like i said before, you may win the case but your gonna have a case to fight.

There are so many grey areas & they seem to be interpretated differently in every county. I feel as if I have no choice but to be extremely careful. I'm a legal MMP, but if an ass-hole officer, wants to use me to prove a point, it's gonna cost some serious time and monies on my part to come out on top here. My understanding of the law is "Usable" also. But who's to say what is and is not usable?

the state cops and tnt (traverse narcotic team) showed up at a buds house he had his plants outside in a 12 ft fencewith the only entrance in is a NEW steel door they put in the living roon (only access). they came to pull plants and arrest him and his wife. well the standoff took hrs. finally because he knows the law, they left but gave him 2 days to get his crop back in the house. the law was on his side this time. http://rivervalley4ma.ning.com/ manistee compassion club. also something i did not know i was told that mi state police if not invited by the township has no authority on your property. does anyone know about this?

to put it as simply as possible: keep 8 in bloom and 4 in veg...each 1 in bloom a week apart..harvest one plant every week or so, skip harvesting a week or two here and there so your plants get 9 or 10 weeks...you will have to go from clone to keep up at this pace however so each time you cut one down you need to obtain a clone for the veg room, from your own plants or a friend/dispensary.

this is what I do except I have 4 patients, you just gotta keep each plant a good distance from the light as they are all different size cause they are at different stages, I use crates to adjust each individual plants height and keep my light high up on the ceiling. The canopy is never 100% even so its not the best but it works out good with our medical system..again not the most productive and no real comercial application with this method but it is perfect for a personal stash because you can have a lot of variety also and you harvest every week around your maximum limit of 2.5 ounces

So does anyone know what the law states for outside growing? If it's on my personal property, and I live in a rural area, do I have to have it under lock and key? Or am I just asking for trouble by trying to use mother Nature to grow my meds.?
