a few grow closet questions..

ive lined my closet with aluminum foil..its only temp until i get some more money..but how long will it be b4 the foil damages my plants? What should i use 2 line the closet for reflection that is cheap? i was thinking about those sun reflectors ppl use in their windshields..will that work?

i have a fan which doubles as an air purifier..and i keep a glass of water in there for humidty
my closet stays cracked to vent out the hot air..


also y is foil so bad?

what are cfl's? are they thoes spiral bulbs?

i kno im askin alot,but i wanna do this right..but cheap @ da same time for now..

when i get good @ it,ill spend more bread

i would use white paint. better than foil.

cfls are the spiral bulbs

i understand how you want to do things correctly and cheap for the first time cause so am i ,

i advise you read through this site alot.!

the more you read the more you learn

also when you crack your closet open does light get in?

I don't think foil is bad at all... but others disagree for some reason.

Foil reflects heat as well as light. Thats where it could be a problem for someone who already has heat issues.

You could use Mylar.

Anything reflective will work.

Yes, CFLs are the spiral shaped bulbs.

hey im doing a small closet grow myself. im kinda new to the whole thing aswell, but from wat i know so far, cfls are compact flurescent bulbs, as for the foil im using it at the moment aswell but on ebay u can get 1m rolls of diamond mylier for around £3.00. so thats a good place to look for bits and pieces.

the only light that gets in is from the tv..and the plant is so far in the corner of my closet,it may not notice it

and i agree about reading this site..never knew so many ppl grew smoke lls..some of yall might be my local connect and i dont know it lls

the light from your t.v. "could" mess with your baby specially during dark hours

i dont think many people grow by me since its illegal here :( too bad
the dea wont get me hahahaha

i just love my :weed:

If you're vegging... then NO light is going to interfere with anything. In fact, I leave my lights on 24/0 during veg.

Its good because vegging plants need as much light as they can get. When the lights are off, the plant will stretch (looking for light). If they don't need to stretch, they will be bushy. Also, the time for vegging will be shorter and it will be time to flower much sooner than if you don't do 24/0.

from seedling 24/0 how long till it will be ready to flower?

my main plant is about 2 feet almost...maybe 1.5 feet,no signs of females..i removed a male the other day..

how do i force them 2 stop growing and veg?or is it impossible..also can i force them 2 flower?
