A day in the life of toke

alright here is the way that i have found to be most effective for ventilation.ill post pics of my setup if you have any questions let me know....in my 8x8 room with 6 lights my temps stay at 79-82 with CO2 as well....no ac in the winter...i just use fresh air ducts from outside....I only use one 8" fan for this but i am thinkin bout upgrading to a 12" fan....with this setup you will only need oscilating fans inside the room....you will notice the walls sucking in greatly....this is normal if your room is well sealed...even with the intake tube....this setup has worked for many rooms....you could hook up your cool tube exhaust ducts to the cardboard box since it make enough vacum for the room and then some:)

Damn toke I cant wait till I can build a box. Gonna be all over this when its time for sure.
Had a question on cool tubing too.
Picking up my first 400 tommorow so where can I get a piece of glass?

i just buy cool tubes...but ive seen a good diy thread in the diy section...its made with a pyrex easy round bake pan....something like that...looked real enexpensive and nice...perfect for 400 watts of love:)

As you guys can see i just let my lights hang down...this new room i just built if gonna be my first time having lights in a conventional hood as well as vertically hung lights...i am hoping for a good turn out...for now in this room i have 2-1000W ballasts1-MH,1HPs, 4-600W-Hps.4400W total for one 8x8x6 room:) thats the way i like it nothing but sunny days in my rooms....I also run most of my lights on 220 so the amps are lowered...to accomadate more lights...I also use a timer box...It controls 8-220V plug ins as well as 4-110V plug ins..I just added a new breaker in my fuse panel, ran my romex, and wired up my box..real easy..I'll post pics of my timerbox tommorrow....as well as pics of my lighting arrangement

+rep toke-impressed with fuse panel, I am a diy guy but wouldnt think of adding subpanel myself. I am ok with electrical-adding ceiling fans and floros in garage, no prob but sub panels-impressed!

from day one to week two:) i would consider my new setup a success...my roots are loving life

for some reason though I think i have a tad bit of a N deficiancy...these grand daddy purple girls sure are thirsty:)I've been mixin up to about 2200 ppm but still seeing some yellowing...just on the biggest fan leaves..all new growth is nice and green...so since its just the fan leaves I don't really care so much...once i start flowering they get trimmed so fuck it....2-3 weeks of veg left :)hopefully:)
