Well, I guess I'm biased. I love to still hunt, but nothing compares to dog/bear hunting with dogs. I was left right around 982 acres (about 90% entirely private, because you know you can't stop everybody from coming in) when a family member passed away a few years ago & I've ran dogs through it quite a few times, shot quite a few big deer out of there & they (deer) always come right back. Nice! I love my TC Pro Hunter (.50), but I always carry either my pistol or my model 7400 just in case.

I've shot a few of them, but never tried it. I always end up giving it away. Same with bear meat. The elderly colored folk love some damn bear meat now lol
the trick to stuff like that ( anything with a strong gamey taste that is ) is soak it in a ice chest with a few pounds of salt and a couple gallons of white vinegar pack it with ice and fill it the rest of the way with water let it soak for 15-20 hours then change the ice and water out and give it a rinse ;) then you get all the flavor and not the funk ..... my normal carry if im just out and about is either a baikal pump 12ga or i call it my lazer pointer >.< remmington 597 heavy barrel .22 with a 30 round clip ..... shoots dime groups at 100 and its compact ... i actually liked the first one i got so much i bought another just like it ..... very little tweaking and its damn near a target rifle out of the box ..... by tweaks i mean polishing the trigger assembly , hammer , sear , bolt rails and thats it shoots a wallered out hole at 100 with cci target 60 grain .... i recently got a .17 hmr and i fucking love it .... its moving so fast it doesnt matter that its only a 17 grain ballistic tip ......

thats the way it is where im at .... no one respects a fence they cut em half the time to drive through

brother these deer out here if you spook em too bad they go nocturnal and you wont see them till after season damn near ... last year the hogs ran them out ... i believe i have them pretty much sticking to one area now i cranked the feeders up to throw more and more often and actually am baiting a hole ... not getting pig pics anywhere but that one spot now so fingers crossed :D

That's the first thing I do after the cleaning process, soak that shit! My step father also has a 597 .22, but I prefer my Model 5 .17, shooting Hornady 17 grain vMax...JMO (try to shoot a turkey anywhere with it besides the head or neck & watch him get up and fly away lol). I usually carry my Gen 3 23c .40, just in case. Still hunting I love, love, love my model 700 XCR .300RUM...but if hunting w/ the hounds I usually take my 30-06 (jamomatic model 7400, it makes me miss my BAR every time I pull the trigger).

That's why I bought a box of 16d nails & spread them out accordingly on the only entrance w/out a real gate. Worked like a charm!

That sucks ass completely about the hogs running the deer out. We don't have them here like that at all. Just an abundance of big black bear & whitetail. Whats the trail cam looking like?! Pics!!

jamomatic >.< thats the first time ive heard that .... the vmax is what i shoot too .... i still have the m4 i used to hunt with when i lived in texas but its a bit over kill at close range on deer imo i dont like having to pour the guts out that .223 is hauling ass.... i had it worked on and it hasnt been right since.... gas block had a crack in it and colt wouldnt do anything about it ( rifle was less then 3 years old at the time but i got it at a gun show and apparently the proper paper work was never filed by the dealer ) so i let a gunsmith my buddy uses fix it and it wont feed or eject worth a shit anymore basically a single shot is about all i trust it... i had one round smash the projectile back into the casing luckily i knew it fed wrong and checked it thats when it went in the cabinet and stayed there .... hadnt checked the camera's lately i got the two i have set up on a new trail that i just put a bump feeder and a electric one on .... so not certain if i have any pics or not .... when my 1 year old wakes up i'll take him for a ride on the tractor and see if anything is moving around

I put those beans in Organics Choice yesterday afternoon, The Ultimate had the best root growth of about 3", the Euforia were a little shorter but somewhat curled as to the long straight tap of the Ultimate. Well 2 Ultimate and 1 Euforia already have the first set of leaves out of the soil nearly an inch! :weed:

These Pinkie Pie x's are growing like mad. One of the Amnesia is already 20" tall! My 2 Fast is only 27"! I have another that is 17". After the shot of pot ash they really shot up. I'm still out on the topping... Not sure it will be worth it. very little new growth at the tops, just the branches below growing up but I don't know that they will produce more than if I her grow naturally. We'll see. I think I have another male, a Think Different again. I will be positive tomorrow, ya know I believe it is a male but 1 more day to be sure. Here's a few pics. :weed:

1 Stem of 2 Fast
2 White Widow x Pinkie Pie
3 Amnesia x Pinkie Pie
4 Amnesia x Pinkie Pie
5 White Widow x Pinkie Pie
6 Think Different x Pinkie Pie

My Cash Crop is budding nicely, the 2 Fast 2 Vast is right behind her, good flowering but not the bud, maybe tomorrow. She is 27" tall as is the Cash Crop. The Freeze Berry is 24" and putting out white hair everywhere. She will bud later this week. I pulled a Think Different X Pinkie Pie male. Only 2 so far out of 14. Great overall ratio, l piss poor for 4 TDXPP, the tallest Amnesia x Pinkie Pie might be a hermie, gotta watch her close. Looked like I saw some balls starting in the top. Overall I am very pleased with he growth of both of my auto grows. Can't wait for these Dutch Passion seeds to really start doing their thing. My next crop will be done in coco as I have 3 big bricks just waitin to be used. Kinda like this soil thing. I never used it, always coco. The only times I grew is soil was outdoors. I have games every night this week so I won't have the time I'd like to to spend with em. Gunna be a lot of feedin and watering and that's about it until the weekend for some "quality time" with em.... They need me.... :weed:

Yep the dude looked like a lady. He's gone. I always suspected him from the start, a hermie 3 males out of 14... Not bad...The Pinkie Xes are nearing 30 days. The 2 Fast 2 Vast is just getting bigger by the day. Cash Crop is budding but not so much from the freebie Freeze Berry. She's gunna be a late bloomer, sometimes they will just start kickin ass and end up one of your finest plants.... :weed:

The Pinkies are 30 days old today and got their first taste of nectar. Fed them 2ml FloraNova Grow ph'd at 6.8. Fed em enough for a good run off, 5 gals between the lot. Lets see what happens. The original 3 are kicking ass. Gotta go to work. I could stay in there all morning lookin at them girls... :weed:

Another hard leg taken! Down to all females as far as I can tell. 4 WW x PP, 3 Am x PP and 1 TD x PP, 2 Am x PP are flowering and starting to bud, the WW are just starting to flower as is the last TD. The remaining Am x PP is a little girl but pretty, She is one I topped. I have 2 topped WW and the TD is topped. At least I will be able to compare the same strain topped or not. My Cash Crop is starting to fill in a few of the spaces. The 2 Fast is starting to form some bud as is the Freeze Berry. When I fed em yesterday I noticed no run off from the Cash and the FB so I fed some more. I had been feeding about a qt a day. They both took neatly 3 qts to start pissin! This morning they all got 1/2 gal per and were happy. I guess I just didn't notice no run off the last couple of feedings. Maybe they will shoot out now... :weed:

1 - Amnesia x Pinkie doing her thing
2 - Cash Crop is looking promising
3 - This WW x Pinkie is gunna be a beast IMHO
4 - Topped WW x PP
5 - Amnesia x Pinkie 2' tall, long and lanky
6 - DP Ultimate stretching her wings
7 - Last but not least, the group shot. I can it's gunna get a little crowded in there. I need to get that second ballast and fire up my other 1000w hp. I lost a bulb yesterday while feeding, just went out. Apollo, cheap but they work as good as the $60 ones. I'm running the one I replaced with the Apollo at the start of my 2nd to last grow
