What I'm saying is why the hell would you weigh something wet to begin with? If you dry properly, 1/10 is about average. Want to see?

Yeah mine usually comes close I take my total so if you have 9oz divide in half so that 4.5oz then in half again which is 2.25oz and been pretty close everytime within a few grams.

dude does that bowl your dry weed is in have a pear on the bottom or some shit? if it does i have the same one.

And from all my harvesting and trimming experience I usually see dry weight being about 1/3 of wet weight AFTER trimming

Never waste your time weighing wet weed, it's a pretty nooby and pointless thing to do.

That aside though, you typically calculate your dry weight as around 20% of your wet weight.

My usual knowledge is that u on average lose 70 - 75% of wet weight thru evaporation by the time the bud reaches the stage of being what would be considered fully dried & properly cured. If ur drying evenly & correctly and curing as appropriate, then u should find it loses this 75% in about a 14 - 18 day timespan. Generally, weighing it again after these 14 days will be the best weight to record as ur return from that particular set of plants.

Don't weigh up the roots or any soil when you harvest, it will make the finish weight seem even less.
