90% of my plants have sexed

Hi!!

I'm in the Eastern USA. Has anyone else had to kill males yet? Last week I had to chop a male and most of the rest have already started showing female. I started them indoor in late February and set them out 4 weeks ago. They were around 16" tall when put in their holes. They went from 20 hours lights on 4 off, to what mother nature has going on. What's in my mind is did the going from 20/on 4/off to about 15-16sunlight and 8-9 dark have anything to do with them sexing so early? My stuff is always done fairly early, i just can't remember ever killing males this early. Any thoughts posted are appreciated.....

well i find that males mature much much faster then the females do. is t full blown sexing or is it pre showing ?

Well since you started plants in late feb, that makes complete sense since they've been vegging for 2+ months.

Me for example started mine the end of march got 1.5ft plants outside now that are not showing sex because they've only been vegging for a month a half.

The males are in full flower and the females are just starting. I had to cut the entire top 1/3 of the plant off. The females are mainly just the single white hairs on either side. I've grown outdoor for 20+ yrs and never seen plants sex this early. I've never used a grow room before this year either though. That has to be why they're flowering so early. Most years i don't set out seeds till mid-March to early April.

KILL MALES trip tomorrow!!!! I'll take my camera tomorrow when i take a hike and check everything out.

PS. I'm growing the same plants that i grew in my first grow album on my profile. the second grow was mazar.

I started at they same time you did, and put mine out the same time too, started out with 60, ended up w/ 35 females, but didnt have the time to do all so had to kill all but 12, but there all doing really good and are just now starting to go back into veg state. Im also on the Eastern side so get prepared for monster trees. cant wait to see those pics, what strains are you growing?

I have Mazar, THC Bomb and Super Silver Haze. I'm thinking three's gonna be nice by the end of Sept. They're already over 2 ft. They been outdoor a month tomorrow. Were 16" when set out. I'll take my cam tomorrow. The SSH are so far the tallest. Then the THC Bomb almost as atll The mazar that were topped above the second node to try something different. I'm thinking they might make like 4 colas per plant.
