8x8 FLOWER 6x8 CLONE & VEG 4 1K LIGHTS

ok so this is like my 4th room and i finaly got it down and how i want it and its mine only mine! heres the details.

1. 6x8 veg and clone room
2. 8x8 flower room
3. 4 1K watt lights
4. 2x32 plant site AQUAMIST SYSTEMS
5. 2x27 gal rubbermaid tough boxes 14 plants
6. 16 plant mini SoG all organic
7. the rest of the room will hold ? number of 5gal DWC buckets

in the clone and veg room there will be a 1K switchable hps/mh light and some fluroscents and t5s i have an auto cloner i built.and then the vegging plants im still working on figuring out my system and all that good stuff. the way i have to veg the aquamist systems is gnna be hard to figure out. any advice welcome

SoG is SEA OF GREEN its were you get a harvest every 2 weeks you keep mothers and use clones every 2 weeks 1 round comes out and another goes in. its usually done with a indica dom plant so they stay short and the bottom branches are clipped off. the point is to grow just 1 big cola really and always have a supp;y of smoke or whatever

heres the most part the 3 walls and the ceiling. im building the other wall in a couple days gonna put a door in it im still tryin to figure that out other than that its a working progress i get a little done each week. the square with 5 2x4s in it is the ceiling the walls just have 1 center brace

ok so i played with the kids all afternoon and got no pics and no work done but i got the poly and liner (floor). but did get a few pics of some LA confidental that was a gifted clone to us it was pretty :hump:

good if i must say so myself it was an awesomme dank smell with a wonderfull fruity deep taste from begining to end and burned a clean whit ash. pretty freakin good smoke.

also theres a few pics of some bubble i made yesterday just used 3 bags plus the holder bag the 70mc was some really nice blonde that was pretty nice in the one hitter. :eyesmoke:

ok so i got a ? and need a little help or something. im wanting to put in a door and still keep my room light tight and sealed. the way i was doing it at first was. 5 8x8 panels with a brace in the center and the ceiling has a 2x4 every 2 feet. i was going to lay each panel out roll the poly across and staple it around the whole frame down the brace and over lap it 3" on each side and staple it to. on one panel i was not gonna staple it all the way and let it overlap by 3' and velcro it and make a door but i actually want a real opening door. should i just do the velcro or any advice on putting in a door thanks for the help and +rep if good advice

.......just frame a door in one half of one of your panels. Have it swing out. Cover everything like you were going to do including the door panel. Depending on how sealed you need it(Co2?) you can build a frame with like 1" x 4"'s and screw them flat around the inside wall of the door opening so they over-lap into the opening by an inch or so----so that when the door is closed it is tight up against the lip of the 1 x 4. You can add foam/neoprene, door/window gasket stuff(I used carpet pad) to the lip if not sealed enough for you. The thresh-hold......well, are you raising your floor off of the concrete?<---if so leave the door long enough to stay at concrete level and do the same for seal there, if NOT, either install a thresh-hold with the door seal or make something(what you got??).......

Just an idea....not really even sure if this is what your asking. Are you lights all going to be vented?<---in/out, or you running ac?

So what, you missed my last post all together?, or just no comment, haha----it's cool........wouldn't let me rep you anyway :grin:

yea you got it basicly im just wanting a simple door i can pull open instead of messing with velcro again. no no floor im gonna put in the pond liner like i did the other room thats the best shit ever for floors. and yes i will have AC and HEAT if needed and a water chiller/heater if needed what temp should my water be in my cloners/hydro-areo units? all 4 lights will be vented and 2 will be on a mover im gonna go with 2 600s and 2 1000s anddo them like this

well the verdict is in for my lights im gonna use 2 dual 600 watt ballast with cool tubes on light rails/mover. also i decided to go dwc & aquamist system and autoflower's in the veg room in soil. i will be starting a journal i will still update untill i got all equiptment and the room figured out and running prime. then its to the journal.

i got 7 new clones today and a mother they are pure AFGHAN im gonna flower the 7 clones under the 1k i already have while i build the veg room and continue buying shit. ive spent about 6 or 7 hun already and still got prolly 4 grand to go lol. lights and movers aquamist systems Co2 atomsphere controlers can fan and filter all that good high dollar shit.

it took 30 2x4s a piece of OSB board 7 foam hard insulation boards (getting them today) 25' of velcro about 1000 fuckin staples a 50' roll of poly a roll of duct tape and 4 people and 5 bowls of LA CONFIDENTAL

and i got a new pet for the box
those my attack dogs
the clones and mother
thats my 14 outlet air pump and 4 buckets need 10 more
and the panels i started with and then what i ended up with pics of the inside and outside of the box and roof i went ahead and hung the 1k to start flowering those 7 afghans. i have to change the breaker in the box to run it all im gonna do that tomorrow and put the 4 buckets in there. ill post some pics of the roots on the clones in the cloner there looking good and are ready to plant. :bigjoint:

Or actually since im using the light movers should i just use 2 1ks or 2 600s instead of running 4 lights? the will be air cooled and on a mover i just thought about that. seems like i would be running 2 extra lights for no reason? thanks for the advice

I would go with (2) 1k lights on movers. I have a 1000w HPS on a mover and I think my area is about 6' by 8'. Awesome setup. I have always steered away from using poly to build my rooms, but you made that look easy and clean. I usually end up with duct tape all over and wrinkles and ripples.

its not that hard if you got 4 people u need a person on each end to keep it square on the corners i use little squares of cardboard and staple through them and then put tape every foot or two and staple through the tape and when you have to use it on the walls (the ceiling dont matter) go back and cover the duct tape and staples with the reflective tape as long as you can keep it tight and use tape and cardboard you cant beat building with poly. i use to use mylar but once it gets wet dirty its screwed and you cant clean it you can always wash poly with hot bleach water and it comes out brand new

well i got the buckets in there tonight theres 7 clones 6 AFGHAN's and 1 into the wild. i got all the buckets 10 5 gal buckets and to 18 gal rubbermaids witch will hold 2 plants each in 6" net pots. with 2 BIG airstones. the pots didnt fit after i cut the hole so i gotta take them back tomorrow and get bigger 1s. i will post pics of all of them when i get those finshed. and im short of clones right now all i have is whats in flower and what im making mothers out of. i have nirvanas PPP a pure afghan and into the wild plus 2 other clippings one of a friends and one of my own that was some really nice bagseed so were waiting to see how good they do outside. i hung one of the 2' shop lights (flurosscent) and a 400 hps sitting in from of them i dont want to put them directly under the 1k yet till there use to it. also theres a pic of the super fan i got rigged up for now sucking the heat off the 1k it works pretty good temp was at 77 earlier
