818 Headband from seed grow

12/22/2012 last night I soaked 5, Cali Connection 818 Headband beans in 5.9 ph water with a drop of superthrive.
They all were on the bottom of the shot glass this morning except 1, that sank after stirring.
Just dropped them about 1/4 inch into root riot cubes that soaked in the same solution as above overnight. Gonna keep them dark and warm ( about 75 degrees ) for 24 hours then put them under cfl's and wait for the ladies and gents to appear.

12/26/2112 the beans all popped and already have a 1 inch tap root out of the bottom of the root riot cubes (100% germ rate)

these potential sweethearts will spend about 5 days under the cfls before going into canna coco in 4" pots then under the flourescents for about 2 weeks and then 1 gallon pots and T-5s until I can take a few clones from each and sex em.
After that I will sequester the boys and run the girls under 1000 watts of love so I can find out which of the original seedlings gets to become a mother.
I run the full canna line of nutes and use 2000 watts HPS for flower
I hope to find that special girl that is pure fire!!!

not much of an eventful update but here they are 2 days later

Right on bro. My girls are about 3 weeks old now. Lost all my clones soil was too hott so i had to start over with seeds.

sorry for the delay in posting but here are some pics from Jan 2nd
1 week old and transplanted into 4" pots of canna coco
there is also 20 blueberry clones and 20 more in humidity dome. In the back is a dinafem white widow and 2 barneys lsd and a few cali hash plant clones and a dinafem diesel seedling

beautiful white healthy roots going into 1 gallon pots for a few weeks to mature before sexing them
last pic is 20 blueberry for next run and 20 more for 20 days later and a WW and 2 LSD

thanks - I find the heat from the T-5's make the clones and seedlings root better, keeps their feet warm I guess

23 days old and looking great in their 1 gallon pots - full strength canna nutes and a little extra cal-mag.
2 more weeks and I'll take a few clones of each and send them to 12/12 for sexing. Hopeing for 4 girls and a boy.
Fingers crossed.

OK - took a few clones off of each and put them in the Clone King
The plants are going into flower today for sexing. I will let the females flower till harvest and pick a new mother from them. Then toss the other weaker phenos. Hopeing for a male to cross with an old blueberry that is absolutely awesome but after about 12 years she has lost ALOT of vigor.
New seeds from this cross could potentially produce a real sweetheart keeper.

Nice looking plants man. Seems like you got yourself a nice op going. I want to see that twelve year old blueberry you got. lol.

pic 3 in post 17 is about 20 of the blueberry clones. I don't have a 12 yr old plant but the clones mother is from 12 years ago by seed, I just always keep it going.
